Deck Description

This deck is built on the concept of trying to build a blue deck with no blue in it.

If anyone has any ideas on how to improve this deck would be super appreciated.

All comments are welcome.

How to Play

The powerful cards here are painters servant and lifeforce. Because that combo allows you to counter any spell played by your opponent.

Everything here is pretty cheap, so you also need some draw to keep your hand full, so you have compost, which turns every card that you destroy our counter into a card in your hand.

Your creatures are also fairly small which is a problem. So you need a way to pump them. Hence the Liege. Also scute mob pumps itself as does mold Adder.

Deck discussion for Green and Black meanies

Lovely!!

Reap would rock.

Protection from black...like Akroma's Memorial would rock.

Deathgrip would be the black version of Lifeforce.

ok, I shall take a look at those. thanks. :)

only thing that I don't care for about memorial is that it is way too much to put out consistently I think. but other than that, those are all pretty good suggestions. sideboard for sure. just in case I want to switch it up a bit. :)

With the Memorial card...i was more hinting at playing creatures with protection from black, built into them.
That way they are unblockable by your opponent.

Regardless, love the deck, old friend!

Did you notice the error of Whippoorwill?
It is flying in the picture...but doesn't have flying!!! :)

Lol.. I didn't notice that on Whippoorwill. too funny. :) and ok, creatures with protection from black would be good. but I need them to be either black or green, and preferably 1 mana. :( I will look for some.

No 1 mana creatures like that...but, umm, Whirling Dervish would rock. It would keep getting pumped up. Could be a powerhouse in 3 or 4 turns.

Yo dude this deck is interesting! It works against the most played colours and has servant to work even if they don't.... I don't really have much to add for a deck like this though... splash white for brave the elements naming black? you could do it with birds.

ANYWAY, ill admit I'm mainly here to ask if you would look at my deck as you seemed interested when you commented on "warriors of fate"

Keep it up buddy.

Brave the elements is good, however it only works on white creatures, and since I don't have any... it wouldn't do me any good. but I bet there are some other protection spells that would be good. :)

and yeah, I can look at your decks if you want. always interested in seeing other people's work. :)

Add Bind to further protect your combo pieces.
