fast control

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (36 cards)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

I take my inspiration for this deck from Negate's flavor text:
Masters of the arcane savor a delicious irony. Their study of deep and complex arcana leads to such a simple end: the ability to say merely yes or no.

Simple control deck. Chant and silence until you can get pike out and counter everything else. Very fast. :)

Comments and suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance. :)

How to Play

The sideboard is really just a list of almost interchangeable cards, perhaps better suited to different situations.

I could have thrown in cards like force of will, or pact of negation, or even made a counter-balance/sensei's divining top deck. Those are even more brutal. :). And that is what I LOVE about magic. There is always something new that we can learn and incorporate into it own deck building style to improve it. You can play it for years and still run into new ways to use cards you thought you knew evening about. It is just fun to see such variety. :)

By protecting your combo. You have a good combo in your nuke deck, but you currently lack a way to make sure that it A) gets out safely, and B) stays out safely. It seems like control but it really isn't.
