a revisit of one of my first decks, the Borderpost deck https://www.mtgvault.com/kazzong/decks/borderpost/I think this is a little more focused, and a little better for it.swap Balance for Restore Balance to make it modern legal.
fun thing to do, if you are being overwhelmed by your opponent, mistwalker + sudden disappearance. keeps your opponents from doing much of anything for at least a turn with sudden disappearance, but keeps the creatures from coming back with Mistcaller. letting you clear the way for you big hitters.other than that, keep your opponents off mana with balance and World Queller, and finish with either your big ugly creatures, (anything other than Mistcaller really) or Roiling Terrain, or Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas (who also helps you dig for mana).

I like this concept. Play borderposts, then punish opponents for having more lands than you. It seems like this deck would love to play boom and bust, since it will hardly ever effect you.

thanks. yeah, boom//bust could be pretty good here. I like it as another wipe in place of balance.also punishes your opponent for having more creatures than you as well. best case is actually them having a ton of creatures and you having only It That Betrays. This deck is super slow, (although probably faster than the original) but powerful once it gets going.
