Vampires with first strike and death touch, and caverns to stop them from countering my vamps.
I play this deck to combo up first strike with deathtouch/lifelink. Many people play it and forget the captains give all vampires first strike, where the vault can give them all deathtouch and lifelink, which will kill all non first strike/double strike creatures before damage is dealt to the vampires. It's mostly a creature ramp deck with control. The main reason I mainboard 2 Slaughter Games and 3 Duress, is because I'm familiar with all the "Net Decks", and what card(s) would kill their decks if they were pulled out of the game. The 3 Duress help me get an idea of their hand, so if say they were playing R/W/U midrange, and in their hand, they had boros reckoner, boros charm, and blasphemous act, I could get rid of the blasphemous act, and then later call reckoner or charm on a slaughter games. One game, I saw my Bant opponent's hand with duress, and he had 2x Supreme Verdict and a Detention Sphere. I made him discard the Detention Sphere, and when I cast Slaughter Games and called Supreme Verdict, he had 3 Supreme Verdict in his hand. The Dreadbores really help against the Reckoners. The underworld connections is nice when Vampire Nocturnus is out, and I have a land on top of my deck, and I get to draw it to reveal a black card to instantly make my creatures flying and +2/+1.

Sorry, it was Falkenrath Aristocrat, not Vampire Aristocrats.
Do you really need so much land?? And, overall I think it needs to be more fluid. By fluid I mean it does not seem to get cards played fast enough. For instance, how many creatures do you manage to get out by turn 4? I'm guessing no more than 2, perhaps 3? By then you'll be at such a disadvantage, it'll be hard to win.Look at this for ideas of what you may need to counter, and be sure to questing anything here as well (comments are welcome):http://www.mtgvault.com/slivermania/decks/persecution-by-sliver/
