The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

This is an older deck I had made awhile back. It's construction is to be an alternative to normal red land destruction decks, using blue enchantments to turn an opponent's land against them, while also using blue's affinity for counters to delay an opponent while every action either hurts, or is deniable. Kill Combo runs off Ankh of Mishra and Parallax Tide, first turn of the combo removes five lands during your opponent's turn, then returns them during your upkeep dealing ten damage. Other mini-combos exist all over the deck, including one of my favorite cards, Psychic Venom.

Deck discussion for The Anti-land

Your deck, it makes me shudder from the evil, and I play Memnarch in my main deck!

Thanks for the comment! I always detested draw/go blue (as well as most blue decks), however this deck is a great alternative to red land destro, and I've always enjoyed playing it. Against it? Naaaaahhh. :)

That creature is pretty nasty. Its a bit expensive to be included in this deck, but I'd like to see it take the place of Predator, Flagship in an old Tinker deck. I'm trying to get back in the game, and haven't really played since the Invasion/Masques block-ish. Thanks again for playing!

A great alternative to red land destruction. I worry about speed though, the deck seems a little slow. I guess if you drop a turn three Arcane Lab you can slow your opponent down. Maybe the addition of some Chrome Moxes would help speed up the deck and avoid Ankh-ing yourself. Great deck though, good luck.

Yeah, I have to say this deck would play very well. Speed or not, this one will cook once it gets goin'. Goodjob puttin' this one together. Earned 8.5 stars on this little deck!

Man, I'm getting the creeps just imagining this deck in play. I get the feeling a friend of mine is trying to build something just like this.
