Deck Description

A creature-less (Sleeper Agent doesn't count, shut up) deck revolving around several combos with Light of Day and Darkest Hour; these being Angel's Trumpet, Festering Wound, and Sleeper Agent. Combine with dual lands, tithe to thin the deck, and tutoring cards you'll need, this deck has the speed and mana production needed.

Added Orim's Chant to delay opponents in case of emergencies.

Deck discussion for Night and Day

I think you should put in demonic tutor instead of vampiric tutor, i think it's better. I also think you should put in fetid heath instead of orzhov basilica or godless shrine, but other than that I think it's a really good and interesting deck.

Fetid Health can be a bit more useful than Tainted Field, so I have swapped them out. Thanks! I do like both Orzhov and the Godless though, I find their utility wayyy useful. However I do keep going back and forth between the acceleration of Vampiric Tutor being only one mana, versus the "in-hand for one extra mana" of Demonic. I'll play test with both and we'll see what develops. Thanks for replying!

I love the combos.
In general I think Demonic or Diabolic Tutor is better than Vampiric Tutor, but this deck has decent damage prevention built into its combos so I think it'd work well.
Agreed, a good and interesting deck!

I'll play around with Demonic vs. Vampiric and see which suits the deck better. The life loss isn't much of a concern, however perhaps placing the card in hand is worth the extra turn delay. Or I could get lucky and be able to Dark Ritual out a Demonic Tutor and use the spare mana to drop Darkest Hour. Thanks for the comment!

This deck is great. I love the combo you pull off. Do you need so much land in here?

Not really, but with the combo cards in place, there isn't much else to add. I was looking at things like Tithe to thin the deck some more.

I think Land Tax would be much better than Tithe...costs the same mana but the effect is much better

Land Tax is basic lands only, where Tithe can search for anything classified as a "Plains", which is both the Scrubland and the Godless Shrine
