Deck Description

You blink slowly as the blue haze clears from your eyes. "I have just wiped your mind. How does it feel?" You spin around on and face a tall, mysterious man. You immediately sense he is dangerous, but you cannot remember why. "Consider yourself lucky" the man continues. "Most people who spy on me go crazy after having their minds wiped clean." You strain to remember anything: your name, where you are, his name, what you were doing, anything. The man starts to walk away. "Stay here, please. I'll be back to kill you in the morning." You knew you couldn't wait that long. You had to kill him first. Straining your mind, you can feel something, some thought forgotten prying its way back into recollection. Gathering your strength, you focus solely on that thought. Suddenly, flames burst from your hands, engulfing the man. With a yelp, he falls to the ground, dead. You stand over his body, thoughts rushing back to you.
You remember.

Using the mechanic Flashback, this deck revolves around casting plenty of spells, then casting them again for the graveyard. Combine this with Burning Vengeance, a card that burns your opponents every time you cast a spell from the graveyard, and let the pain begin!

How to Play

Deck discussion for Recalled to Memory

Volcanic Spray isn't type 2 standard legal, consider swapping it with rolling temblor

I know, but these are just cards that worked good together. I had rolling temblor in before, but the mana cost was always a stumbling block, it being one of the most expensive cards to cast from the grave in the deck. Volcanic spray was a much better choice. Plus, I make decks to use against my friends, not for tournaments, so it doesn't really matter. But yea, rolling temblor for sure if i want to use this deck outside of my group.

So sideboard the temblor, coz its a cool deck, also add in some low cost creatures for chimp blocking.
Another card u really need tho is guttersnipe, 2 damage to you opponent every time u cast an instant or sorcery, from the grave or not, run 4 of them and this deck will speed up so well
