I've been experimenting with different variations of the Meathooks deck, and this is what I've come up with so far....

Deck discussion for Countersliver Blast

your land choices need work. more then half of your lands come into play tapped which sets you back a turn each time. essentially by turn 5 you will at best only have 4 usable ands and the opponent will be several turns of development ahead. try to get ahold of the duel lands, those plus the search lands will make this deck doable

I know that the lands are the weakest part of the deck so far. I could put in Amulet of Vigor if I wanted to, but that's only if I saw that the rest of the cards were doing what they were supposed to do. I'm just playing with the lands I have for now. It's going to be hard to get all those Legacy lands that are like 50 dollars a piece.

Prismatic Omen could be helpful.

I don't think you need all those Harmonic Slivers. If I were you I'd worry more about wipeout spells like Wrath of God or Day of Judgement. Your Crystaline Slivers won't stop them. To stop that kinda thing from happening add Ward Sliver. Other than that I like your deck. It is concentrated :) I'm working on a similar type of Sliver Deck. If you'd take a look and offer me suggestions I'd be appreciative.

I run Harmonic Sliver primarily to deal with Umezawa's Jitte and Sensei's Divining Top, two cards that every legacy deck seems to have. I am also debating about adding Quick Sliver, which would enable me to destroy those things at instant speed while gaining a creature.

I'm not really worried about wrath effect spells in Legacy, because it hurts the other guy's side just as much as it does mine. Also, having pro-white won't stop wrath from destroying everything, because it also destroys Progenitus.
