The Master... The Apprentice...The Outfitter... The Duelist...They all follow The Seeker of Kaldra in her quest for the artifacts.Find the pieces, use them to slay your foes, summon Kaldra!
Agro is the plan for this one. All creatures are cheap and their equipment is no different. SHUKO can be equipped for free, meaning you can move these bad boys around onto whomever you need whenever you need 'em. Shuko can be quite powerful with this, especially with guys like KOR DUELIST getting double-strike when equipped with anything. SWIFTFOOT BOOTS combo well with KITESAIL APPRENTICE which becomes a 2/2 flyer with haste for 1, and mostly safe from removal. The stars of the deck are of course the pieces of KALDRA being the proverbial Exodia in this case. The ultimate combo, for me, is to equip KALDRA with WORLDSLAYER. Obliterate everything in it's path and destroy all other permanents with it. SWIFTFOOT BOOTS also help protect KALDRA from removal, and hell even SHUKO can kick it up a notch haha, though WORLDSLAYER will utterly obliterate these. No idea if this deck runs well, just thought it would be fun. I've always wanted a Kaldra deck, so here I go.

Love the idea! :) Kaldra is so fricking iconic, I was bummed he didn't at least make a cameo or get a mention when they went back to Mirrondin for Besieged.Anyway, I do have a couple thoughts if I may, though:I feel oblivion ring might not be the best card in a Worldslayer deck. For example, let's say you exiled a major threat creature or enchantment earlier in the game. As soon as you hit with Worldslayer, oblivion ring will be destroyed and they will get their big bad card back while all your stuff has been destroyed.I'm also not sure about the correlation between Worldslayer and indestructible these days, but last I knew Worldslayer could destroy indestructible because it is a world effect (although to be fair the guy who told me that years ago was only about 85% reliable on his obscure MTG rulings so I might very well be wrong). But if that is true then Worldslayer destroys the pieces of Kaldra as well. The other problem is that Lightning Greaves gives Shroud and equipping needs to target the creature. So in order to equip anything else onto Kaldra you would need to temporarily remove the shroud. Swiftfoot Boots only has a 1 equip cost but gives hexproof which might afford more reliable protection. Here my budget Kor Equipment (no Kaldra sadly but a similar feeling deck) for any ideas or inspiration:http://www.mtgvault.com/basilicanero/decks/hardkor-budget-20/Enjoy your deck!Cheers!EDIT: Swiftfoot Boots is also about $15 cheaper for a playset so that helps with the budget aspect of the deck.

Thanks for the tips! I didn't know that Worldslayer would destroy things with indestructible.. everything I've just briefly looked at said that it wouldn't be the case? Dunno!Do you think Lightning Greaves could be unequipped real quick for 0, then equip whatever, then re-attach it?I understand the Oblivion Ring point you made, definitely make's sense. I more put the O-Ring in there in case they try to put an aura on one of my guys, but I suppose I should just get some kind of disenchant?Anyways thanks again for the input!
