Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (5 cards)

Instants (1)

Enchantments (1)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Inspired in the Evolve Mecanic (almost standard now that I relize it). The Name is inspired in the famous book from Charles Darwin, where the natural selection was described.
Cards in the sideboard are things I might consider including.

How to Play

Keep playing creatures, and be very cautious with the mana curve, as it is essential to trigger the evolve mechanic. Most of the creatures above the curve of the others trigger the others Evolve. This is very important specially in the Renegade Krasis.
Simic Charm and Ascetism to protect your creatures. Give//Take and the Bident for card drawing. Prey Upon as a removal. The Hydra and Nylea act as finishers.

Deck discussion for The Origin of the Species

Made some changes, probably staying with this build. Any idea how to improve it?

if you can make this deck standard, it would be viable. As of modern though, it lack punch.

Also, a good evolve you might have missed : Elusive Krasis, it evolves from anything and evolves everything and is unblockable.

I mean, it can be easily turned into standard by now. Just need to replace the Ascetism and the Prey Upon. Any ideas about the rest of the deck?
I am not very fond to the Elusive Krasis as it takes long to grow, but I considered it.

I've thought so, but I have the Give//Take that can help with that. The main idea is to target the Renegade Krasis, and keep evolving that guy.
