I think this combo will be something the moment Journey comes out. You pretty much win when sage hits the fild with Gilder and Training gorunds already in play. You could add llanowar reborn/oran-rief for an instant counter on sage

Doubling season´s first effect applies on planeswalker´s counters, so they enter the battlefield with twice the amount of loyalty. That would not synergize directly with the gilders, but would make like a second way to obtain the kraken combo, what may be nice depending on the level of removal in the deck you´re going against.
Awsome deck man, i love the G/U combination and this one is quite the thing. Have you thought about doubling seasons? May be a nice second plan in case someone drops a surgical extraction in the gilders.
Interesting deck, but a think vitu-ghazi wont help a lot since the main combo is the counter + life gain. I think aqueous form would be nice for the unblockable+ scry and maybe one kiora for the extra control + mana rush. Really nice build tho : )
What about exploration for mana rush?
I think the problem with goyf in this deck it that he don´t grow a lot since this deck misses instans, artifacts and rancor/zenith will hardly be going to the graveyard. Maybe helix pinnacle since you have omnath and a lot of mana generator, primalcrux would be nice too
I agree, interesting deck but i think this concept -> http://www.mtgvault.com/bestofcolbs35/decks/jund-depths-20/ fits more into the legacy format
What about brimaz? I think you could remove one, maybe two "raise the alarm" to add him
Nice deck, i would add 2x archetype of courage into the sideboard just in case you run against another first-strike based deck.
Love this concept, i´ve been playing with a very similar counter + circu build, it really lacks removal. I´ve added consuming vapors and it helps a lot with the removal + sustain. The bad thing is that you cannot target a creature with it : /
The flashback from Cackling counterpart shouldn´t activate twice due to the Precursor golen and the token generated by the first cast of the card?
