Idea is based off of the 43 Lands Legacy deck -> Wicked fun to Play ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Concept: To used dredge ability to fill your graveyard to eventually abuse wormharvest - getting tons of worm tokens and over running you opponent. In the mean time you have the ability of beating down or maintaining life total with man lands. You have removal and hand disruption that always has recursion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Card: Life From The Loam: Dredging: putting lands and other key cards into your graveyard, bringing back lands that will help stabilize, give you draw, help you thin your deck. Shambling Shell: Dredging: putting lands and other key cards into your graveyard, saccing ability to pump other creatures. Darkblast: Dredging: putting lands and other key cards into your graveyard, added removal Raven's Crime: Retrace - Hand Disruption Wormharvest: Retrace - Token Generator Explore: Playing extra land that can trigger a Dredge or a Draw Mechanic Oracle of Mul Daya: Be able to play extra lands each turn, allowing the knowledge if you should dredge or draw, and a stable body that you can add counters too. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Purpose of Specific Lands: Dryad Arbor, Blinkmoth Nexus, Treetop Village: Man Lands Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth: Help with Retracing Marsh Flats, Misty Rainforest, Verdant Catacombs: Thinning the deck so Dredging is effective Ghost Quarter: Slowing the tempo of the oppenet by blowing up all lands (Doing this multiple times a turn is extremely effective) Grim Backwoods: Trigger Dredge or a Draw Mechanic ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sideboard Idea: Side in everything because there is going to be hate coming in game 2, so the purpose of each card is: Dark Confidant: card advantage, build tempo, and allows for the ability to know to dredge or draw. Krosan Grip: removal of all hate that would be brought in for graveyard Thorn Amethyst: Slow down all other decks, this is not that effect against this deck because you have so much added lands Maelstrom Pulse: added removal, and helps remove all hat that would be brought in for the graveyard Gravecrawler: reoccurring beats, and a card that can be casted from a graveyard (Other zombie would be Shambling Shell) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
