Deck discussion for Vampiric Madness

Have you thought about the new Metallic Mimic, if you're going to run so many vampires?

though this is a greatidea, in practace you just don't have time to cast a non hasty creature like that. At least in my build you dont..

But it would buff all of your hasty creatures, making them attack for more? It's not for attacking.

yes but on turn two you either want to have a guy that punches in the air. In some matcups the mimic is better due to the oppenet having allot of flying. Decks with flyin arnt that popular though.

Though its worth testing... I might try it in oliva's slot... Then again this deck is differnt to the one I run.

Yes, I will try with one copy in main deck and one i sideboard to add in main if it show better solution then Olivia.

Thanks, olliva just ends up being a lighint rod in this deck. At three mana often she is the only thing you play, and often us use a really bad thoughtseize. If the lives though, oh my god she wrecks face...

I have a few questions
1. would you care if i used this deck at my local game shop
2. do you think any planeswalkers can run fairly well with this set up

1. Yes, go ahead. Let me know, how well it went.
2. I didn't thought of them, but feel free to try mix them.

The walker that i feel would work best here is liilana, as she removes threats and makies blocking hard, as well as being cheap enough to play and hold up removel.

Chandra could also be a option as burn and mana ramp are always good... she is even better in this build with allot of the vampires being red!

I think Chandra is very good choice if you want to think about adding walker.

but you could also add Sorin lord of innastrad, and two stormkirk captains and it would also work

I mean, if you wanted to make it casual sure, but they are not leagal in standard, so you can't play at FNM with it if you do that.

Unless your fnm is modern.

and maybe add esquisite blood and sanquine blood

it would change deck meh...but you can go in that direction.

This deck would never be good in modern by adding a few cards cards. It's a tier 2 standard deck at best. ( no offence intended).

No offence taken...can you elaborate little more your opinion? You think, it is because of 2 colours only?

Have you run stensia masquerade in yoru sideboard? There are a fair few mardu cars decks around right now and having that really helps mitgate the lifegain they get from blocking.

No I didn't. For now this works for me. But thanks for thought.

I mean you have sideboard 12 slots left, but if you don't feel you need them, sure.

Sinister concoction is to slow in my opinion I'd suggest Grasp as a budget alternative or Fatal Push for a non budget. I also believe Bloodmad Vampire is to much of a risky investment with Shock being back in standard. Speaking of which 2 could prove useful in the side board. Gifted Aetherborn would be my first choice in place of Bloodmad. It's a great pressure card early on and a decent blocker late game. Drana, Liberator could also be a super star as a 1 or 2 of.
Just my opinions, Happy Casting. :)

For Sinister concoction and Shock sideboard, yes sure...but for Bloodmad Vampire, they have madness option, and Gifted Aetherborn, Drana, Liberator don't...so I will test this version little bit longer, but keep in mind your suggestion...testing will show.
