What format, level of competition, and budget are we going for here?

He set it to pioneer. Most of my time in here I forget that the format is listed at the top right, I've grown so used to people using the tag for that.
Ah, true. I forgot to look there. I know next to nothing about Pioneer.
This seems to be some sort of ramp engine, cavalier of thorn might be able to loop and they build towards abusing golos. The overall purpose is probably to keep playing big creatures at an ever faster pace and attack.Am I right juzzamj?
Sorry for not replying sooner. Yeah basically the idea is to advance my mana each turn while abusing maskwood nexus in the mid to late game. It works well with making everything an elemental for the reef or a zombie for the scarab God. Most the decks in my local meta cannot handle kenrith. An added bonus is if I get the tree out with the nexus, I can search my entire library for all my creatures if I want since they are all gods as well
Yeah, I saw cgb use the tree on arena during the early stages of using the tree, I was pretty amazed that the game didn't crash while trying to display and voice all of them hitting the battlefield simultaneously :)
Lol its a great feeling ill say that much
I think Elementals is a great casual fnm deck. While BUG is a great color combination, Elementals specifically loses a lot of value by not playing red. From the Omnath, Locus of the Roil to the Chandra, Acolyte of Flame, Risen Reef engine. You can even go the Thunderkin Awakener, Spark Trooper route.Unfortunately, as boring an answer as it is, Omnath, Locus of Creation is probably the best elemental printed to date. it shores up your aggro match ups, draws a card, ramps you and acts as removal if you can hit that 3rd land drop.It is my opinion that the core of any Pioneer Elementals list starts with;4 Leafkin Druid4 Sylvan Caryatid4 Risen Reef4 Omnath, Locus of Creation2-3 Omnath, Locus of the Roil4 Chandra, Acolyte of FlameBut that's just like, my opinion man.
I agree with what you are saying absolutely. I always make my decks with the local meta in mind. I try to max out my 5 drops and reach things cause of all the spirits here
