fairly typical temur energy build for the Phoenix Grand Prix 2017. The deck is very versatile in that it can easily shift from being somewhat aggressive to fairly control. It is amid range grindy deck and you have to play slow and just try to maintain that slight edge over your opponent. That said, the deck idea really started from one of those pre-con was-mart decks a buddy got me for my birthday. I had been tweaking it over several months just running G/Blue control and it was actually quite consistent and fun to play. I planned on that being the deck I would run at the grand-Prix but a friend in my playgroup convinced me that I needed the stuff that red brought to the table.
Ideally you start with botanical sanctum and attune turn 1. Turn two arther hub and servant. Turn three forest and rouge . Here you have 5 power on the board , a good chump blocker in rouge and some energy in the bank to protect the turn 4 hydra or cub. Servant is a good ruse of a target for removal as it presents a threat for its ramp ability. At this point start sitting back a little and counter/ remove their threats with the likes of abrade, Essenes scatter, harnessed lightning while chipping away with small bits of damage. Hopefully you draw into old glory or build enough energy to start pumping the cub.
