This is pretty good. I think I'm going to take your idea and run with it. I think this set is better than the last.

I'm actually going to modify it a bit and get rid of the mindcrank and replace it with neurok invisimancer. Life gain decks would be a weakness but I rarely see any of those in tournaments. I played a deck similar to this in the sealed deck tournament at prerelease and it did pretty good. Went 2-2, it was 1 life and upkeep away from being 3-1.
Now that I see I'm at 60 cards I'll just leave the invisimancer out... lol.
I'd take out gitaxian probe and put the invisimancer in, or toss in mind control. That would be fun.
Yeah the invisimancers in the sealed deck made it easy to get their life down fast and make use of the Impaler Shrike draw ability. I kind of like the Gitaxian probe for the cheap draw a card and see what to expect from your opponent but yeah invisimancer could replace it just fine.
I took out the gitaxian probe and the impaler shrike. put in 4 dark rituals instead...
