Deck Description

Such Synergy. Much Power.
Archangel of Thune has got to be the all-star of the deck, the card has insane synergy with Scavenging Ooze and Courser of Kruphix. e.g Scavenging Ooze eats 3 Creatures to get 3 +1/+1 Counters and 3 Life, Archangel of Thune triggers each time to supply 3 +1/+1 counters to each creature, resulting in a 8/8 Scavenging Ooze and a 6/7 Archangel of Thune. The deck is the regular basic G/R Monsters deck except who needs Ghor-Clan Rampager when you can run Archangel to have 8 Flyers (Screw Trample -_-) and lots of ways to pump your creatures. Running White not only gives us access to Archangel but also to what in my opinion is the best card in Standard...Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Banishing Light to deal with pesky enchantments, artifacts and planeswalkers. Boros Charm in the sideboard is a great way to annoy any control player when they decide to play Supreme Verdict, Deicide solves Mono Blue Devotion by ridding them of Thassa and Selesnya Charm is there to get rid of pesky fatties. Everything else is simply what we've all seen on offer from other R/G Monster decks.

How to Play

Same way you play R/G Monsters, except you want to try and take full advantage of what the white has to offer in the deck as well.
