That's a good question, I've put that in because I haven't found a place for Tamiyo yet and I drew her in a booster a couple of months ago. You may be right. I was looking to run a full set of Mizzium Mortars or Searing Spear so that may be the way to do that. Thanks for the help.

No worries and you're right, this deck really is reasonably priced for legacy. Thanks for the help on my decks as well, much appreciated and if you think of anything else, let me know. I'm still modifying all of the ones in my profile. As for the follow button, I'm not sure. I just like the deck and follow up every once in a while.
First off, if you're going to break the zombie theme I would go with Deadly Recluse before Towering Indrik to cover reach. I highly recommend that you look at Appetite For Brains. Keeps with the theme, gives you insight into your opponent's hand and removes 4CMC or higher for 1. Duress might be a good card to pair with it, another 1 cost that reveals your opponent's hand and removes spells. Abrupt Decay and Tragic Slip would be great for board removal. Murder and Ultimate Price should also be considered depending on your meta. I would also recommend Dread Slaver and Unbreathing Horde as opposed to the Desecration Demon to once again keep with the Zombie theme.
Thanks, I agree with the Commander's Authority as it did play test it and it struggled exactly as you said. I've also thought that Cathar's Crusade and Captains Call might be too much at 4 and may need to be taken down to 3. If I did that, what do you see as possible additions?
I understand your point on Renounce and Barren Glory, my counterpoint would be "why not plus both Barren Glory and your creature up?" but as I look through your other selections, I don't know if I would be able to take anything out. Either way, this deck is solid so no matter what recommendations are made, this is a pretty mechanically and thematically great deck. As for Phyrexian Rebirth, I like it mechanically, though it's effectiveness as a finisher is dependent on how creature heavy the opponent is. Thematically, I would say that its just the right kind of twisted and doesn't mess with the flow.Bottom line, This would kill (literally) in multi-player.
I like the thought of Fiend Hunter (I'm partial to the card anyways so I'm a little astonished that it wasn't in here to begin with) I have had success with Murder in the past but recently seen a lot of recommendations against it in the forums. Is there any specific reason? Something I'm not seeing? Are there better Black removals in standard out there that I'm not seeing?
Yeah, you can't beat the theme and False Prophet definitely works, really do like the thought behind this. My only thought was that you would end up losing out on its effect with the multiple sweeps you have out. Plus, now that I think about it, if you run 3 False Prophets, there isn't a need to run 4 Renounce really. I would run a full set of the creature (whether it be False Prophet or whatever) in order to capitalize on its effects and that of Renounce.
I like False Prophet but think that maybe your doble tapping creature removal with some of your other spells, especially if False prophet is removed along with one of your other board sweepers. Even though the name not as fitting, i would loo Archon of Justice as an alternative. It costs 1 more but allows extra effect from your board sweeps. Just a thought but i really like the theme and application of this deck. Liked.
I agree about with the chump blockers and either lingering souls or gather the townsfolk would probably work but personally like Doomed Traveler better as it is quite the effective double chump block. While I also agree with the need to not shoot for the 16/16 bringer of doom as your end game strategy, I would say that Vish Val works as a single and if it happens then more power to you as that is always fun to drop on your opponent. Otherwise your Exalted build up works once you add the Duty Bound Dead and drop the Duskmantle Prowler for the reasons stated above, which are spot on. Overall like the deck and apperently picked the night to post a B/W exalted deck as I just posted one myself. I'd appreciate help from anyone willing on mine if they have the time.
So, I just submitted a B/W Exalted deck, went out to make sure that it popped up and immediately saw yours. I'm jealous because, this is fairly awesome. I like your thought process with Spiteful Shadows and Disciple of Bolas. I guess my only concern would be limited availability of both of your enchantments. Maybe one more of each. I might also say that Angelic Benediction instead of Bonds of Faith might work better in the long run. Just thoughts though and this deck deserves a like from me. Please give advice on mine if you have the chance.
I was hoping that urban burgeoning would allow me to be more responsive to instants but l do like growing ranks and parallel lives. Ultimately, I will probably take your advice but will have to wait on the parallel lives as the two listed are the only two I have right now. I'm going to throw in 2 growing ranks right now and work on the parallel lives. Thanks and I'll check yours out in a sec.
Very cool card and absolutely great call, what to cut for it though? Thoughts?
Enjoy Honor of the Pure but unfortunately no longer standard. Wanting to keep this in my FNM rotation.
I thought about Collective Blessing but went with Rancor instead due to its survivability. I like Intangible Virtue as well but unfortunately I have a playset that is in a mono white Soldier Spawn deck. Take a look if you don't mind, let me know if it should switch over. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=387547
I like the idea of using cloudshift, Res. Angel, and Conjurer's Closet to manipulate ETB. My only concern would be how spread out your creature list is. Not a criticism, just not my play style. My recommendation, for what it's worth, would be to drop Elvish Visionary (2 CMC for 1/1 with draw a card ETB, not sure if it fits this deck), Healer of the Pack (2 life is minor effect at best with 1 if it hits) and maybe seller of songbirds though it looks like that may be your only defense against flying. I would also look at Fiend hunter for more removal and plus up thragtusk and Res. Angel. I say take the advice for what its worth because it sounds like you already have a good record with the deck and don't fix what isn't broken. I also understand making decks with what you already have, my budget forces me to do this as well. Bottom line, looks like a fun deck that plays differently every time and I would play it myself.
Both of those suggestions make a lot of sense. I will definitely add gather the townsfolk an take out the spears and 1x captain. I really like the champion but agree that its a little expensive. It may be worth it in the long run though as i don't have a solid mana ramp right now. Thanks for the recommendations.
I like the look of this. Alot of complementary cards. My question though is where you are going to pull tokens from. I see raise rhe alarm but, unless i missed something, i didn't see any other token producers. Have you thought of captains call to go with your captain of the watch? I really like champion of the parish though, i may steal it for my white token deck as well.
I agree that Rhys would do well here but i was attempting to keep it standard as I've just constructed 2 other decks that play casual and I need something for FNM. You make a good point with gather the townsfolk and i was looking at unruly mob as well. After i put it together, the mana ramp was a little harsher than i was wanting but what would i replace to bring either of those guys in?
New to magic myself but from what i've seen, most mill decks would not seriously be affected by hexproof as it targets the player not characters.
Thanks for the link and that looks like a solid deck that would wreak havoc on creature heavy decks.
