Let me just add a little poison to your mana....
It's an all-out attack on your opponent's land base, but not to destroy it. Instead, I want them to use it...and kill themselves in the process.Old Psychic Venom is back... and it's brought along its descendents Pooling Venom and Contaminated Ground as well. Slap them on your opponent's lands and watch them destroy themselves. Counter the more troublesome spells with Mana Leak or Remand to make them pay even more...and hurt themselves more in the process. If they choose to sit back and wait it out, MAKE them tap with Rishadan Port, Mana Short, and Early Frost, or by taking out other lands with Wasteland. Anything they do manage to sneak into play you can wipe out with Cyclonic Rift and, of course, Damnation... or at worst, slow them way down with some Propoganda. If you need to close the deal, use some of your own land (Creeping Tar Pit) to sneak in that last bit of damage. If planeswalkers or other nasties have you down, pull in Pithing Needle. Running against someone with only one or two colors? Mana Web and Wash Out can do some serious work. Artifacts? Hurkyl's Recall them away. Reanimator? Hello, beautiful Grafdigger's Cage. And white and green mages will weep when you pull in Corrupted Roots. This deck is a lot of fun (for me, at least!) and has already come out on top, multiple times, versus Eldrazi, Elves, Control (in multiple colors), Reanimator, Affinity, and Tokens, to name a few. Try it out and let me know it goes for you!
