Deck Description

Charge! Then charge again! And again and again!

Eventually, this hasty Elemental swarm will get the job done. Even if it's from beyond the grave....

How to Play

This deck exemplifies the phrase "reckless abandon". Play your hasty Elementals and throw them at the opponent, because most of them will die at the end of the turn either way.

If that's all there was to this deck, you'd probably still eek out some wins against slow or unprepared players. But there's much more to it than just that....

The key card is Séance. With it in play, you can bring back one of those hasty Elementals from your graveyard each turn for another go at it, giving you a persistent threat each and every turn. Play another Elemental on top of that, and/or bring back multiple sacrified ones with multiple Séances, and things get silly really quickly. Use tricky evoked or Séanced Elementals like Glarewielder and Spitebellows to clear a path, and add in a well-timed Boros Charm in double strike mode and an empty board can suddenly turn into a game-ending bull rush.

And on top of that, you can use Brion Stoutarm to then "fling" those Elementals for MORE damage. And as those Elementals die, they can pile counters on Lightning Coils to unleash a powerful closing blitz down the line.

For defense...well, part of your defense IS your offense. Spark Trooper and Wall of Reverence (which can trigger the lifegain from a powerful Elemental before you're forced to sacrifice it) gain you enough life that you can take some to the face when your opponent counterattacks. (Plus the Walls themselves, with their high toughness, can handle a troublesome creature or two.) And since Séance can trigger during ANY upkeep, you can pull back your Elementals as strong sacrificial blockers if you're in a bind. If things are really bad, pull in Wrath of God from the sideboard and clear the board; after all, you can bring your own creatures back on the attack without too much trouble!

Only other thing of note is red's penchant for discarding to draw. That seemed like a good fit here, since you can discard Elementals to reuse later. Your sorceries let you do just that to dig for other cards you need, and hidden gem Sparkspitter lets you discard to get a little hasty Elemental as needed.

I'd really like to build this deck if I can get the card together. What do you think? Does this sort of all-in strategy have a chance?

Deck discussion for Séance Sparks

This deck looks great. You might want to consider increasing the amount of evoke creatures and adding in come cloudshifts. You can use Cloudshift in response to them entering the battlefield so it will trigger before you have to saccrifice it and you will get to keep the creature. In the case of spitebellows you would evoke it for 3 cloudshift for 1. Then it would deal six damage for leaving and you get to keep it as a blocker or swing and either deal 6 damage or it'll be blocked and die and deal 6 more damage. You could also sac legion's initiative to do the same thing.
