They may not strike particularly fast, waiting in their caves and hordes for ages. But when they strike, they strike hard, burning everything that dares get in their way...even those who worship and sacrifice in preparation for their coming. Here be dragons!
While my Modern Dragon deck (http://www.mtgvault.com/jre47/decks/reign-of-fire-modern) is more of a slow build and burn, the legacy version here can reliably get out of the gates a bit faster, thanks primarily to the awesome Dragonspeaker Shaman, which basically speeds up your Dragons' grand entrance by two full turns. And when those Dragons show up, they immediately get to their burning ways. Many deal immediate damage or have haste or devour (or some combination thereof), so they enter with authority. The devourers have some goblins to gulp up (some of which cause additional damage as they die), making Voracious Dragon particularly nasty. The two enchantments may seem at first like "win more" cards but can actually be game enders when you consider big beefy hasty Dragons making use of them.Your other spells are purely complementary. Bonfire of the Damned keeps the board clear and is especially key when facing lots of opposing creatures (aggro can be tough to face here, though Slumbering Dragon can be a great deterrent early on). Infernal Plunge can turn one of your gobbbos into some additional ramp if you need a quick boost, and Reforge the Soul keeps the Dragons coming.
