Bant Auras seem to be all the rage right now. But what about those of us that can't afford a playset of Trafts and VoRs? Well here's the list for the rest of us....
Same core as those pricey pro decks: a full set of Rancor, Spectral Flight, and Ethereal Armor, the best each color has to lend to the Aura cause. Each color offers two more cheapies: Abundant Growth for mana fixing, Curiosity for card draw, and Bonds of Faith for flexability (more pumping or a Pacify, depending on need)...and of course, there's also Unflinching Courage, which even the pros recognized is just too good to leave out.You can still slap them on Invisible Stalker or Fencing Ace, as those other decks do, but to fill in for Traft and VoR, we have some other targets here. Elusive Krasis is an unblockable guy with a big, out-of-most-burn-range butt. He's our primary GoST fill-in. Knight of Glory is great at boosting your biggest, most Aura-filled beater (ideally one of the unblockables) for extra damage, or makes a great Aura target himself if you're facing a lot of black. (If you're facing a lot of green instead, consider pulling in Somberwald Dryad from the sideboard instead.)Just add in Rootborn Defenses to protect against non-targetted removal, Simic Charm for emergency team hexproofing, and Farseek to help dig into your diverse mana base, and you're good to go!The sideboard is mostly made of what a good sideboard should have: hate against certain counter-decks. Fogs, Simic Charms, and another Rootborn help against control/wipes and also against aggro (Blind Obedience JUST missed the cut). Detention Sphere, Oblivion Ring, and Nevermore are good for removal of key threats (and all happen to be enchantments!), and Rest in Peace (another enchantment) is obviously to lock down reanimator and flashback-happy decks.Even budget players can roll out some great decks. Hopefully this one can have some punch. If you're REALLY strapped you can always roll with Gates instead of the dual lands here...they're really the only pricey thing in this deck. What do you think?

I really like the inclusion of the krasis. Its quite original. If you were willing to spend a bit more loxodon smiter is a pretty standard inclusion. Put him in instead of the knight of glory

Yeah, I have a playset of Smiters and thought long and hard about it, but I was really trying to stick with the budget idea. Other than the lands (and of course Stalker, who understandably costs about as much as Smiter right now!), this thing is dirt cheap. For anyone reading the comments, if you have Smiters, toss 'em in. Highly recommended!
