It's a white 'walker whiteout... with allied superfriends!
(Partly inspired by my White "Off The Chain" deck, found here: http://www.mtgvault.com/jre47/decks/off-the-chain-white)There have been several cards printed over the last couple years that encourage going planeswalker-heavy, and none moreso than white. Consider:Norn's Annex: Most cards like this in the past protected the player but left planeswalkers out in the open. No more!Call/Deploy the Gatewatch: Dig for those planeswalkers and get them out when you need them.Ajani Steadfast: His second ability gets you to those tasty ultimates that much faster, and if you get his ultimate, it prevents most damage to your planeswalkers as well.Oath of Gideon: More loyalty counters! Get those ultimates fast!Combine those last two with The Chain Veil, and you can potentially trigger Elspeth's mighty ultimate the same turn you play her! Yowzers.Of course, the main flaw to planeswalker decks is protecting them. Elspeth can spawn plenty of defenders, and so can Gideon. I chose the Ally of Zendikar version because Gideon can also significantly boost the other creatures in this deck... also Allies. Hada Freeblade and Kazandu Blademaster are two of the premiere Allies in the game, able to pump up to absurd levels very, very quickly, especially with Gideon dropping one (or two, or even three!) new Allies every turn. (And don't forget that Oath of Gideon ALSO drops a pair of Allies.) They can really win all on their own, but combine them with an Elspeth ultimate and swing in for a REALLY quick victory!

I love the idea! Nice deck. It has inspired me to try and make a planes walker deck as well. But why 61 cards?

I always do 61 now. Started a long while back when I just couldn't trim my favorite deck down that last card to get to 60. *shrug* Just kind of my thing now. :-) Good luck with the 'walker deck... let me know how it goes!
Cool on the 61 ;) here is my deck that I threw together, not sure if I will actually build it, but it seems really fun. Thanks for the idea. http://www.mtgvault.com/biggeorge76/decks/planewalk-this-way/
