I love Biomancer and still completely overlooked him in this build. I'll play around and see how he works out...if it's as I expect, I'll have to try and make room for him.

Ooooo, not a bad thought at all. Yeah, if you can find room, she'd be a nice addition. Probably -1 Healer of the Pride, -1 Spectral Procession for +2 Archangel of Thune.

Or Rootborn Defenses, as Zero_Weaver pointed out. Very vulnerable right now to wipes, though Blood Artist alone could be a good defense against that. ;-)

Recommended sideboard (draft):

3 Rootborn Defenses
2-3 Blood Baron of Vizkopa / Divinity of Pride / Voracious Hatchling (some kind of big beater that works with lifegain)
2 Souls of the Faultless (defender with MORE lifegain/lifedrain)
2 Hide // Seek (for the Seek part, obviously)
2 Pillory of the Sleepless / One Thousand Lashes
1 Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts (she might actually work here!)
3 Beckon Apparition / Vile Rebirth (graveyard hate and more tokens!)

Now we're getting there! Perhaps find room for a pair or more of the land Vault of the Archangel for more lifegain potential, and if you can acquire them and squeeze them in, a couple copies of Spectral Procession and/or Promise of Bunrei for even more token generation. Not strictly necessary, but if you find yourself with a slot or two as you tweak, certainly wouldn't be a bad idea. You might even be able to twim a land (22 should be enough, I would think) and a Healer of the Pride from your current build.

Either way, looking a lot more purposeful and powerful already in my humble opinion. Nice work!

This deck just screams for Intangible Virtue. Picking away at their life total with Artist and Suture Priest is great and all, but you need to get some more damage in. So I'd do one of the following:

1.)
-4 Ajani's Mantra
+4 Intangible Virtue

Quick fix. You don't need the additional life from Mantra, and Virtue turns your tokens into a formidable army that can attack and still block counterattacks. Gets in the damage you need to finish the opponent off.

2.)
Make the lifegain a wincon. Chalice of Life, Felidar Sovereign, etc. Either win from your own lifegain, or use it to throttle the opponent with a flipped Chalice. Probably:

-2 Bitterblossom
-2 Ajani's Mantra
-1 Elixir of Immortality
+4 Chalice of Life
+1 Felidar Sovereign

Something like that.

Good thought. I supposed with all the ramp, Omniscience isn't really going to do much for me, you're right. Dropped it in favor of a couple expensive (but who cares with all this ramp!) but flexible Bramblecrush and Rapid Hybridization. Thanks!

That would pretty much be best case but yes, it's possible. And that's nuts! :-)

Altar's Reap? Not sure if card draw would be a problem or not with all the cheapie Apostles, but Reap seems to always be overlooked and is AWESOME in a sac deck.

Also, in your sideboard, have you considered Golgari Charm over Naturalize? It has the enchantment hate piece and other modes that could bail you out when needed.

Just my two cents. I like the deck a lot. I made a similar one myself that uses the forgotten Ravenous Demon instead of Gris. I may have to make some tweaks after looking yours over...looks great!

Forgot all about Prey Upon. *headsmack* Added them into the sideboard and reduced Searing Spear..may even end up mainboarding in the end. Thanks!

Yeah, kind of builds itself once you settle on colors. I imagine the support cards will take some tweaking (the Charms seemed like a good place to start), and the sideboard will surely be fiddled with over time, but in playtesting, the mainboard has been lightning fast almost every time as long as I don't have big mana issues. It's fast and fun and powerful. Bonescythe is just KILLER...I may need to up his count in the main if I can find room.

That's what I was thinking. Really just need a couple creatures--or the right one with SotG--to sneak a win even after a wipe. I hope. Just hold a little back just in case. Cards should be steadily coming so hopefully you'd have that luxury.

Yeah, I thought about tossing in more copies of each, but I didn't want their cost (and potential hand clogging if I draw multiple copies) slowing things down TOO much. More of a nice-when-I-stumble-into-it bonus here.

Not a bad option, but the issue is that your Gobbos might then all be slaughtered. You need some around to trigger Fire Marshal.

Goblin Warchief attempts to bring the cost down a bit, but yeah, it's not great acceleration. Between Reckoner and Goblin tokens, you should be able to navigate early turns until you can land Marshal and seal the deal. Just added Nearheath Pilgrim based on other suggestions, and that should help recoup life lost early, too.

Yeah, the combo is always good. But pairing Pilgrim with any heavy hitter is a good idea. Done and done...thanks!

Right. Act is sometimes better, sure...especially with Reckoner out. But Fire Marshal can more reliably throw damage right at the opponent's face, and with Reckonor, it's even better. 20 instanty if they can't stop it.

Added another Act to the main and moved Memorial to the sideboard. Still another Act in SB too that can be pulled in if needed.

Thanks! I was going for something a bit familiar, but also a bit different. :-) If you like Goblin decks, I have a couple others I'd love feedback on from another Goblin aficionado....

http://www.mtgvault.com/jre47/decks/goblins-go-to-the-dark-side/ is my favorite. Goblin midrange!

http://www.mtgvault.com/jre47/decks/goblin-sacrifice/ - The name says it all.

Just if you have time and are interested: no pressure. Thanks again for the review!

How often do you find KotWO being particularly relevant? I usually prefer Knight of Meadowgrain, personally.

Like the deck...nice and simple.

Hey all. Playtesting has been going very well in general...If I get Quest for Ula's Temple early, I almost always win. But if I don't, it's rough. I added in some more alternate fattie-droppers to compensate and give me some more options, and trimmed the fat in the sideboard. Let me know what you think for guaranteed points on constructive comments.

Thanks!
