I've tried making mill decks in the past, and as soon as I played a creature based deck with more than 60 cards I was shut down. Or it would not stand up in a group game. So I tried to make a more defensive deck, so that I can be milling one person while still attacking another. Dreadwaters, it turns out, is most often a game changer later in play. It's kind of expensive but can be totally worth it. I started out with just Plumeveil as my defense, but then I saw doorkeeper and added more defenders and there are points in the game where I would have nothing else to do, so having his ability was very helpful.
