There's no cards here. Maybe it's a budget deck?
The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
So I've done a little research but would like some actual input. So say I wanted to make a competitive modern deck, and I wanna definitely include black, then maybe red, white, or green, but probably not blue (just not my color really). What would a budget of $100 do? Is that reasonable or would I not get a very good modern deck for that? $150? I would just like some advice on if 1) somebody could point me towards an either B/W/R, B/G/R, B/W/G, or any combo of two of those colors. And then 2) what kinda price I'd be looking at for a competitive deck

$100 will not buy you a standard modern deck. You could, if you want to, go MOno Red Aggro, which is actually quite good and averages out at around $60-$70 I think. It is quite a large portion of the meta, and is quite good. Infect is also an option, and is again fairly good. There are variants of it that are expensive though, watch out for any cards called Noble Hierarch, or Misty Rainforest. Infect is fairly good, quite hand dependent but my deck has been beaten a fair few times. I play G/W Hatebears myself. You can also (I don't know how much it is in dollars, as I'm english) pick up a modern event deck which starts you of with some really strong cards such as Paths and Inquisition of Kozilek. This deck is a really good starting point if you're looking to get into Modern, though I would suggest getting rid of some of the cards in there. Modern is quite a strange format, so read up on your stuff. http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/carrie-on-defending-against-modern-combos/ This article is great for getting into modern as it helps you understand the top tier stuff that you'll come up against. I highly recommend the Modern Event Deck, just make a few tweeks.

This is a deck I made a while ago for Modern when I was getting started. It was budget, but is pretty good. http://www.mtgvault.com/itsmagic/decks/budget-modern-infect/
The deck here is around $40-$50 so it's not too bad. What changes would you recommend straight away
agreed the modern event deck has lots of goodies and i also highly reccommend it. if you go to cardkingdom.com then you can get said deck for around $60-$70, which is better than trying to get it at a local card shop as it is far cheaper. modern is insanely hard to do right because of all the crazy decks you face. im in the midst of extensive playtesting for my first competetive modern deck myself (http://www.mtgvault.com/drakeraenes/decks/gilder-bairn-cccombo-breaker/).
Actually funny enough, a few months ago I made an infect deck that's only 8 or so cards off from yours, didnt know it was modern. And the gilder barn guy does seem interesting, tho combo's aren't exactly my thing in magic. Is modern mostly combos where I should try a different format then?
If you don't like combos, then play my deck - Hatebears! It's dedicated solely to stopping other decks doing their thing. Check out my list.

The event deck is really good against combo decks due to cards like Thoughtsieze and Inquisition of Kozilek. I recommend buying that for modern, and using the rest of money tweaking it to your playstyle, and also your local meta. for example, my local club is control heavy, so I have a lot of search hate to turn their £60 lands into bullshit, and stuff that can't be countered, stuff that makes noncreatures harder to cast etc.
Alright thanks!! I'll check it out
