I don't know if you like "cheesy" combos but Exquisite Blood would do an infinite combo with Sanguine Bond and Oloro or any direct damage or life gain if they both get on the field without any response. I personnaly put them in any deck that includes black.
I know about that one I want it so bad going to be one of my next cards I buy
this is the only eternal bargin deck list on the site, so i'm going to use your deck to leave this comment. me, my best friend and his wife all just bought commander decks. the best friend bought eternal bargin, i got power hungry and she bought nature of the beast. eternal bargin is by FAR the most over powered and broken of the three. the power level seems to be 1.) eternal bargin, 2.) power hungry, 3.) nature of the beast....for an idea of how insane it gets, i was locked into a stalemate with him last night where he had a serra avatar on the board that was like 500/500+ and he had over 1,200 life. good luck countering that. i could have stalemated almost endlessly thanks to the tokens, but i finally conceded. there was no hope, nothing i could do to break it. here's some revisions i made to power hungry specifically to counter his deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/pigeons/decks/prossh-power-hungry-edh-2/ bottom line is, if you don't bring lots of artifact, enchantment and creature removal against eternal bargin, you're going to lose. you have to break up combos involving these cards asap: serra avatar(period. doesn't even need to combo with anything really), cradle of vitality, ajani's pridemate(this thing just gets nuts so fast, it was up to 16/16 before i could drop it and that was without any combos going yet), pristine talisman, sanguine bond, well of lost dreams, wall of reverence(this paired with serra is just broken) and divinity of pride. these are the cards that will kill you once they start combining with each other. nevinyrral's disk is a big threat too, but only in the early game or out of desperation. you won't want to cast it once your combos are out, cause it'll board wipe them too. oloro is so broken and good you barely even need to deploy him, just leave him in the command zone and gain endless life. back to power hungry: you almost HAVE to switch to shattergang brothers as your commander. i stubbornly stuck with prossh throughout the whole mini-tournament and probably lost because of it. shattergang can break his combos pretty effectively. hopefully some of this advice/observations will help others having trouble beating eternal bargin :P
Once you start replacing cards or playing against any custom commander deck, eternal bargain is quite weak in my experience. Keep in mind I play more multiplayer with Oloro. Pridemate dies almost the turn it gets in because most are afraid of it (dunno why realy I have scarier stuff) and most of the players I play with completely ignore my life total. As you said, they can block Serra Avatar with any chump bullshit then they usually go commander damage (prossh+ whispersilk cloak no less). I play against Kaalia and Prossh and Progenitus most of the times, so unless I have stuff to deal with the instant creatures from kaalia, it gets ugly fast. Sure I could fill my deck with mass removal untill I get a Cheesy win (Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance or Exquisite/Sanguine) but its quite boring to win like that. Im currently in a recontruction phase. So I don't have a real answer. If play against preconstructed decks, cool. My scene is a little more ambitious than that. My only sure cards that are required as Oloro (unless you play lots of creatures, 30+) you need Righteous Aura or Delaying Shield or keep your life gain to a reasonable level to not attrack the hate and commander damage too fast. Commander damage is too easy imo.
well here's what happened, we played a 3-person tournament thing where the first player to 3 wins won. prize was a pool of 4 theros booster packs, and each loser got one pack. it ended up being me and him at 2-2 a piece, and we were locked into a deadlock. he had over 500 life and a serra avatar that was 500/500 or something nuts...and he ended up winning but here's the thing that i didn't realize until 3 days later...we had both got so drunk we completely forgot about commander damage. i swung him about 8 turns straight with prossh, and most of those turns he was boosted to 8/5 or higher. so i should have won with commander damage hahaha....so knowing that, yeah the deck seems far less scary now. we just forgot about it.
only 500/500? ive gotten her to over an easy 1000/1000 since if done right you double your life and her power every turn.
