hmmm.. not a bad idea. my dragonskull summit will come into play untapped because i will likely play it with a swamp out. graven cairns might be a good sub for akoum refuge but i kind of dig the plus one lifegain even though plus one is not that big a deal. at the end of the day, i think it's a toss up. i'm not sure it matters that much. i'll playtest this a few times and see if i think graven cairns might just be a better card for the deck. otherwise, thanks for the input.

I swapped out the Tutors for Sterling groves, and put in four Sunpetal groves. It's a good combo and I don't have to change too much up, except maybe take out one of each CoP. But what I like about the Tutor is that I can play it at the end of someone else's turn so I can still surprise folks with an instant. Plus, with the Tutor I can search for artifacts, too, in the event that I have all the CoP I need and want to seek out a Battery or something. Also, not having to worry about green mana in this deck is a great thing. But without Sterling Grove, my enchantments are way susceptible to attack. I can't really make up my mind as to whether I want to keep the Tutors or use the Sterling Groves. Any ideas, folks?

I like the idea of using the Mesa Enchantress. The only problem I see with that, though, is that once all my CoP are down, the enchantress stops giving me cards. This was built to be a creatureless deck, so I think I'll leave her out. The Jalum Tome isn't very efficient, but I use it for those instances where I have multiples of the same CoP in my hand. I only need one on the field, so I can wait around and draw/discard. This is a very patient deck, a lot of time is spent sitting back, passing your turn and building up red mana with the battery. I like the idea of using sterling grove to protect my CoP, but I don't want to have to put green lands into my deck. Any other suggestions? Maybe a red or white spell that also protects enchantments? Lastly, I think I'm gonna put some enlightened tutors in there so I can search for the Cop I need. This is the kind of deck where you can get pummeled if you don't have the right CoP and all you can do is cross your fingers hoping you'll draw it.
