The power of Bant and the power of Exalted united! Three things important to keep in mind when you use this deck:1. The Exalted bonus lasts until end of turn; don't make the mistake of removing it at the end of combat2. When you do the second combat phase thanks to Finest Hour, the Exalted bonuses trigger again; the Exalted bonuses that triggered in the first phase are still present 3. Multiple instances of Exalted stack: if you have one Noble Hierarch and one Sublime Archangel, you have 3 instances of Exalted (one starting instance of Noble Hierarch, one Sublime Archangel's instance and one second instance of Noble Hierach given to it by Sublime Archangel), so if a creature attacks alone in this example it gains +3/+3. Enjoy.
Summon your creatures and attack with one single creature at a time. It will stack all the exalted bonuses on your board.Use Dromoka's Command to kill your opponent's creatures, by using in sequence third and fourth effect. Remember it's an instant, so you can use it at the end of declare attackers step, after your creature has stacked all the exalted bonuses.

You need a creature that can get through. Everything here can be chump blocked except the birds. Maybe put in that 2 mana blue unblockable hexproof fella?

Even if happens what you say, you kill him a creature per turn (two with Finest Hour). Does he cast a creature per turn? Also don't forget that you have eight creatures with flying and eight removals.
Trust me, chump blockers are no problem for an exalted deck (unless they're one of those spammy token decks that is). I run black white exalted, and like what John721 said, it just whittles down their field to nothingness. Add removal on top of it and creatures will get through eventually just by beating the opponent down faster than they can set up, especially with noble hierarch and birds ramping mana up.
I see your point(s) but I would still cut a Rafiq and the 2 squires for 3 rancor.
Now the rancor idea I like
Let us not forget that Gods Willing can be used offensively too, just give protection from the colour of creature(s) that can block.
Nice Exalted deck. I actually didn't know that the exalted triggers from the first combat phase stay for the second attack with Finest Hour, so I appreciate that information. That being said, I don't like ever having more than 2 of a legendary creature unless it's totally fundamental to the deck working so I'd drop 2 Rafiq for 2 Detention Sphere. I also think you might be better off dropping a FH and Avenger for more control, I personally like Remand and Cyclonic Rift for an exalted deck. You may also want to drop a couple birds (Exalted doesn't need very much ramp) and the squires for 4 Ardent Plea as this card gives you 2 exalted triggers for one card essentially. I'll leave a +1 like for you. :)
+1 man. I can see how exalted can get outta control with the angel and finest hour hahah. Swinging in for, oh, 100? LOL! Nice!!!
Exactly :D
I'm not sure how good it is in practice, but Silent Arbiter seems like it would be fun in an exalted deck, and with 8 mana dorks, you shouldn't have a problem paying its mana cost of {4}.
Solid build. At first look tho Finest Hour seems to costly for modern IMO. It does have a very good effect if resolves, I'll give it that. That said I still think Sword of Fire and Ice, Sword of Light and Shadow, Sword of War and Peace or even Sword of Feast and Famine would all be more useful.
True, but having eight mana dorks that is significantly mitigated. Not sure about the equipment you mention. They don't contribute to exalted, they don't contribute to defend you and they don't contribute to defend your creatures so they don't seem to have a place in this deck.
They provide protection from two colours and have triggered effects when the creature deals damage to the opponent. The protection helps them get through, and the triggered effects are extra awesomeness.
Two colours is too specific, and "awesomeness", although fun, is not a criteria to build a deck.
Sorry you feel that way. If your actually trying to tell me that the swords I mentioned aren't good enough for modern you are mistaken. The two main removal spells in modern are Lightning Bolt and Path to Exile which would make Sword of Fire and Ice the best choice. Not only does it add 2 damage but draws you a card. These reasons are probably why it's a $45 card.
fi you want to play around the exalted mech even more, you could play ardent plea or stoic archangel, you may wanna rethink the 4 of of archangel as well as the 3 cathedral in you mana base, which might screw you mightily on t1. Rancor is a good card here ;)You might want to consider Geist of Saint thraft which gets exalted and has evasion through the 4/4 token as well ;)
