I'm a little concerned about Immortal Servitude. Not many combo pieces in here share a converted mana cost. Have you thought about maybe using Cauldron Haze in its spot.
You were right, but i feel like Cauldron is not the perfect card for the deck... running a Pact for now, until i remember something else.
Cool list. I would run kor fire-walker instead of Burrenton Forge-Tender, just better against burn. otherwise list looks solid. very different stategy, and I would like to see some playtest results/fnm results. post them when you play!
As soon as i test it, i'll post!Only the Slaughter Pact is in doubt, because i don't really know what to put in that slot...
Rally the ancestors from standard may fit well here
That may just be the best replacement for Immortal Servitude, good call.
But there's just one thing i don't like in that card: that little part that says that your creatures will be exiled at the beginning of your next upkeep. So from what i understand they can't attack (Because the list doesn't have the "haste" mechanic), which means they will only enter the battlefield for the trigger purpose?Or am i not seeing the full potencial of the card? Help! :DSorry for my english :P
Yes, they get exiled at the beginning of your next upkeep, but that's only if they are on the battlefield when the game checks for them. Thus, if you sacrifice them before then, they won't be exiled. And if they return due to effects like Undying or Persist, they're treated as 'new' and 'different' creatures, so Rally's exile effect won't exile them.
OH! Now I get it!! It makes sense :)I guess Rally the Ancestors is a powerful card in this deck! Thank you for the help and enlightenment on the Rally ruling ;) Much appreciated!PS: Sidisi can 'fetch' it so it's always a solution (Rally the Ancestors), even if it's in the bottom of the deck!
So rally may deserve like 3 slots here
I feel 3 it's a bit too much as it is a "fetchable" card, and it doesn't always comes in handy
i mean even as a 2 of... have you seen the work it is doing in standard? and your deck puts more creatures (and better creatures) in the graveyard
