Mono Green ramp n stomp deck I made after I tried green splash white n realized the white was holding it back more than helping. I've tried it out and played turn 4 terra stomper with a turn 5 overwhelming spampede for the win. Let me know what you think.

I like this alot. This is very nicely put together. I love Green & Stomp decks and this fits the bill on both. This would be a nice little challenge to play against; but I'd definately take the Pepsi Challenge w/ this one; it'd be one hell of a match. And this one seems fun! Well done boss, I give ya' 9.6 Stars on this bad boy. I see little need to improve on this one, except for maybe one thing. You have 22 lands & a bunch of other cards to help your mana. You could probably speed it up a tad by droppin' your total to 33.33% land. Then up Terastadon to 2x & Stampede to 4x. That would be very hard to stop. I have a couple Green Stompers, would ya' mind ratin' & tellin' me what ya' think of 'em? Agreed on the lands point. For now I'll try droppin one for a stampede, and if I drop another it would probly be for a gaea's though. I like that its uncounterable and has haste.
Yeah, Terra Stomper is nice for the un-counterable aspect as well. But good choice, Gaea would be nice for the other card-fller.
Dropping the two lands for an extra overwhelming and gaea was great. Thanks bro.
Here's the problem with mono green stompy. You invest all your mana and every turn prior to this one to play a fatty. Then for two mana they counter it, or for one they exile it. I know the phrase "Dies to removal" is really overused in MTG, but this deck really does die to removal of any kind. If you're going to make a stompy deck, make it so that the creatures/win conditions don't die to removal. For instance, leatherback baloth doesn't die to removal per se, because it's so cheap and efficient your opponent isn't putting you out much; same for garruk's companion. Gaea's revenge doesn't die to removal; actually, it just doesn't die. Period. Stuff like that. Terra stomper just sits there for a turn waiting to be pathed.
It is true that creature based decks in general usually are very hindered by removal. However when you have 29 of them in a deck and you have 6 mana usable by turn four, its not that much of a problem really. Check out my mono black vamp deck v2 for example, straight up creature killer. I often have my brother play it against my stompy and the only thing he ever does that gives me a problem is royal assassin. Basicly what Im saying is that given the pace this deck plays creatures, its really hard to have enough removal for it to bother me a whole lot. And if it is a problem, vines of vastwood and momentous fall will get sideboarded in. And I understand that might not be convincing enough, but lets face it the heart n soul of mono green is the big fatty's.... that's why you play mono green, if you dont wanna play big green monsters, probly shouldnt be playing mono green.
I love mono-green decks and this one is very good. Have you thought of squeezing in a couple of Bear Umbras to combo with your Omnaths?
