Deck Description

The deck uses cards that compliment each other well. It centers around placing lands into play. I've found that it is easy to get out four or more lands by turn 2 using Gaea's Touch and Nature's Lore. You play Gaea's, use it's ability to play an extra land than sack it to cast Nature's lore. This works out well since the living lands and Earth surge are both four casting cost to play. Echoing Courage works great once the lands are creatures since you can then name Forest and boost them all with +2/+2 buffs. The Traproot Kami turns out to be a good defender since it can block flyers, cost 1 to play, and if the deck works like it usually does you'll have a 0/5 blocker by turn 2 or 3. Finally there is the Vinelasher and Bull Elephant combo. You play vinelasher on your second turn, 3rd turn you cast out bull elephant and return two forests to your hand. Now when you place them back into play they bump vinelasher with counters. If Gaea's is out you can put them back in to play the very same turn.
