This is a very fun concept, however the problem with this is the mana ramp and the number of actual lands you have. Your current deck has an average casting cost of about 3.44 which is pretty high and the average casting cost of your creatures is 3.34, so on average you cannot cast a creature without at least 3 land. The addition of elvish mystic, gyre sage, into the wilds and chromatic lantern will help, however you actually need more land. You should have at least 20 if not 22 or 24. I tested this deck's initial draw and several times I only managed to have 2 or 3 land by turn 5 and in some cases I only had 1 or 2 with an elvish mystic. Also, without chromatic lantern in play, you risk not being able to play certain key cards, especially those that require blue mana. I would add in some more breeding pools and possibly some watery graves to help you out with this. You may also want to consider adding in more elvish mystics and gyre sages to make sure that you get them in play. Some other cards that might also work well with your concept include bioshift, bread for the hunt, flesh//blood, hindervines, oath of the ancient wood, prime speaker zegana, renegade krasis and valroz, the scar-striped. Just some thoughts. Other than that, this deck looks really good. Have fun!

Cheers for the feedback, much appreciated.I now dropped the 3x Forced Adaptation for more Elvish Mystics & Gyre Sages. I also exchanged two of the Tombs for Watery Graves - after all that serves both colours I'm short of. Also dropped one of both hydras for two extra forests.I was afraid I might have been a bit short on mana but hopefully these changes help out a bit. I'm still below 20 mana but with bit more of mana ramp I should be better off now. Sideboard has also been added now, mainly based on your suggestions but I also threw in a few removes (Doom Blades and Putrefies). Sort of tempted to add Witchstalkers as well for sideboard, it's a quite powerful card after all and serves the purpose well if playing against the given colours. Now just to buy the Kalonian Hydras. So terribly expensive...
The mana ramp is much better now with 7 creatures and the chromatic lantern. The mana mix is also better but I'm still slightly concerned for Simic as he requires 2 of your rare lands, but I guess that shouldn't be too much a problem. I also agree with keeping some destruction in your sideboards since you never know what you'll be up against. This should work much more consistently now. Best of luck! And as far as the hydras go (and I agree it's a painful purchase)... such is the price of glory lol
