This is a revised version of the Glissa, the heartless traitor deck that I posted months ago. i tried the first deck at an FNM, the meta being wolf-run ramp, tokens, humans, tempered steel and delver decks. the deck went good against delver, humans, tokens and tempered steel decks (in other words little creature decks) mainly because of the possible big creature on turn two or three. Tutoring massacre wurm and steel hellkite (using the exarch or the demon) is always a good finisher esp against tokens. Mirran crusader is the biggest problem of this deck, that's why there's perilous myr to take care of it. also the number of artifact creatures is higher than the black/green creatures. after sideboard, i've included curse of death's hold Wolf-run Ramp (such as kiebler's and wood's deck) always posses a problem. kessig wolf run is really a threat so i've modified the deck to add 3 acidic slimes. also thrun and other hexproof creatures posses a problem so i added phyrexian metamorph (which can be recovered by glissa or the black exarch). i've only included 2 heartless summoning main and 1 on the sideboard because it's a dead card once 1 heartless is out. also i reduced myr superion to 1 coz without the heartless or the palladium myr, it's also a dead card. cards to tutor by the rune scarred demons are: sorin's vengeance, bonehoard and gnaw to the bone (for the finisher) side theme for metalcraft for the ezuri's brigade with the help of precursor golem. i also designed the deck to be not dependent on heartless for the same reason i've mention earlier. instead i've focused on the mana curve so that at least i can cast something each turn. Im gonna try this build on the next FNM and see what happens.
