I was looking through my trade binder and came across a creature card I had not thought of to put in my B/G Lotleth deck. Unbreathing Horde, which at first glance is an unassuming zombie who's power & toughness are = to that of all the zombies on the board and in the GY. Once you read the card a couple times you relise the potential he has, for all intents and purpose' he's indestructable, if you can keep putting +1+1 counters on him, which is reletively easy with the scavenge mechanic. Pair him with Rancor and he's a force to be reckoned with. Unbreathing Horde is the star of the show, pair him with Lotleth and a few 1 drops and you have an unstoppable army. Any comments on how to improve the deck would be helpful.

I like the deck. Maybe sideboard Endless Ranks of the Dead in case you face massive token decks?

That's partly why I decided to put in the Charm, it should take care of tokens if there are no anthems out. I have thought about putting ERD in but don't know what I should cut.
If they are just running a basic token deck I would say to cut Tragic Slip.
Point taken, I'll put it in SB. Thanks.
Love the deck, the only thing I can think of would be Tablet of Guilds might make a good fallback against horde decks since your running multi-colored creatures.
Your talking about "life Gain"? Not sure how I could fit the tablet in here though, any suggestions?
I would maybe take out abrupt decay from the sideboard and sideboard Tablet of Guilds. That would be the only way I can think of to work it in.
Indeed, you only really need it against horde and burn decks and contrary to popular belief the life gain grin that card is surprisingly good for any dual color deck.
I have Abrupt decay in the SB for all of those O-ringers and the always hated Liliana. If they o-ring my G-mess i'll make them pay for it, lol.
It wouldn't do any good to Liliana, It says converted mana cost 3 or less, She cost 5 mana doesn't she?
Nah, the one every hates thats in standard is a 3 drop, Liliana of the Veil.
Ah! I always forget about that one. I don't like her. Even if I was to use her, I wouldn't like her. Not really my type of gameplay and easy enough to get around with what's standard. My favorite planewalker is Sorin, Lord of Innistrad.
I think Sorin is going to be nut's once Gate Crash comes out, pair him with the Orzhov Syndicate, It's gonna be crazy. I think he's gonna jump in price because of it too, so if you have any on hand, keep them until Gate Crash, lol.
I have 2 already and there was another at my local card shop. I ran him in a vamp deck. Black white is on of my favorites to run. :) But alas I have to wait for payday.
Well I would pick up a couple more copies of him then, I have 4 right now, made a couple trades once I relised what the next guild colors were.
Oh yeah. My fist deck was a lockdown deck, which I put on here. But then I started playing standard. Upset that they didn't reprint Rites of Flourishing. And I just found another card I want in my deck. Corpsejack Menace. :)
Unbreathing Horde is an amazing card, I ran 3 in my zombie deck. It was a token deck. It helped keep Large creatures at bay. Lotleth Troll is a good card from Ravnica. I think this is a nice deck.
Thanks, yeah I had not even thought about him at all until today. I've been play testing him with really good results. I will be playing this deck in an upcoming FMN, will post any changes I will inevitably make based on what the meta brings to the table.
I wont get a chance to test my deck for over a week. :( And I agree, we will soon see what everyone will be playing and be able to make adjustments accordingly.
You could run 3 of your creatures to make room for Corpsejack if you plan on running him.
