Deck Description

Deck is centered around using Bloodthrone or Desecration demon to sac creatures which initiates Blood Artist' shenanigans. Pair this combo with Vizkopa and watch as your opponents life dwindles to nothing.

How to Play

The goal is to get out Bloodthrone and Blood Artist asap, then start cranking out tokens with lingering souls and Sorin, these provide a sac outlet for Blood Throne and start the Blood artist engine. You can also use Gravecrawler and G-mess with Bloodthrone. The big Beater is Desecration demon and the Ghost council, which can also be another wincon in and of themselves. Vizkopa is awesome is any deck with both Blood artist and Bloodthrone in it, if you cant see the synergy between the 3 you might be blind.

Any suggestions on how to make this any better?

I think that you need a lot of mana to use the two abilities of Vizkopa Guildmage in the same turn to make Bloodthrone Vampire a bomb. In standard, Mark of the Vampire could help to give lifelink and then you could use only the second abillity of the Guildmage in most of cases. As for Ultimate Price, i think that the Metagame would include lot of colored permanents with the guilds thing, consider Oblivion Ring. Pretty nice deck anyway, please comment my deck too if have time, http://www.mtgvault.com/sieg021/decks/draw-go/

Not really, you pay 3 to use Vizkopa's 2nd Ability, with Bloodthrone and Blood Artsist out every time you sac or kill something Vikopa basically doubles the amount of life loss from Blood Artist. So you really only need to use her 2nd 3cmc ability to make the trigger kick off. Yeah, I wasn't even thinking about the Ultimate prices mono colored clause. Thanks.

I was thinking about putting in Exquisite Blood blood also, but have to wait for turn 5 to play and and turn 6 to use Vivkopa's life loss ability. Not sure if it's worth using. Any thoughts?

I think that Blind Obedience is cheaper in mana cost and could be more synergyst with the whole team, EB is good but it slows the deck plan IMO.

In my build which you saw, it is now a back up, but it is an auto win. It will be super helpful vs the mill decks that are going to exist that will just prolong until they mill you out, or get Jace and the duskmantle guildmage out.

Found another potential addition, Rhox Faithmender seems like a viable option for the lifegain + life loss with the Vamps and Vizkopa.

I think two rhox over the bloodthrone vampire's would be much better, a big boost to life gain, and a decently big blocker that has life link
