I've seen this deck before. Travis Woo has one called Ninja Bear Delver. You should take a look, seems pretty fun to play. http://www.channelfireball.com/articles/woo-brews-ninja-bear-delver/

Any suggestions for better devotion cards? Or cards that synergize with the deck?
Thought about the Stalker, need to play test him. Thanks for the idea.
I would suggest Read the bones as it helps you dig for the things you need and being a common it fits with you restrictions. It's slightly worse than sing in blood, but gives you the option to look at 4 cards from you library, very few cards in standard allow you to do this, and even fewer given your restrictions.
Yeah she's good, but she's off limits as an uncommon :(
Peasant is common/uncommon with the limit of uncommon's at 5 in the deck. Pauper is limited to nothing but commons. Here's a good referance4. http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=484594 Cloudfin has evasion and can sneak in for a lot of damage if givin the opportunity. He also only costs one blue.
Any ideas or suggestion on how to improve the deck are appreciated. Remember though, this is a Pauper deck, commons only.
Made a few changes and will be testing them on MTGO tonight.
Yeah the dismiss was a mistake, was not thinking at the time. Put in spell pierce as another 1cmc counter. I recently read Travis Woo's article on a similar polymorph deck where he had Dryad arbor in as his polymorph creature. Since I'm running six fetches that can search for her I think that's the route i'm gonna test. I'll add some Mutavaults as a plan B if Dryad dies. Also added in Mizzium Skin, seems like a no brainer at 1cmc. Made some room for Proteus Staff as well. Gonna test it out on MTGO tonight.
http://www.mtgvault.com/jiffy512/decks/bug-modern-polymorph/ What do you think?
Swan song fills the 1cmc slot for counter spells. After play testing a bit, i have noticed that the Halimar depths really didn't add much to the over all goal of the deck and set it back a turn or two on multiple occasions. I will be removing them. I'm thinking of splashing black for Thoughtseize , IOK , Abrupt Decay, Maelstrom pulse and Life from the Loam. What's your take on that?
Thought about mind sculpt and Tome Scour, need to do a little more play testing to see what cards are not doing well. Might sub in Mind sculpt for archive trap, considering I can Snap them back a lot easier. I might try and proxy in the Curses too, hadn't even given it any thought. not sure what to cut for those though.
Any thoughts on what I could add to make this quicker or more consistent?
Need help with the deck, any suggestions on how to make this more streamlined would be helpful. It works great in playtesting, but that's in somewhat of a controlled environment. Does anyone even think a deck like this is even viable in this standard meta?
Need some help with the main and sideboard. Not sure if Steel overseer is a good fit or not, was thinking of adding in Archbound Ravenger. Not sure what to do with the sideboard, I guess it depends on my meta :).
I'm fairly new to EDH, so let me know if there are any newer cards that would go well with the theme. I've been told mono red is the most difficult color in EDH to work with, we'll see.
Might want to think about putting in some Naphalia Drownyards, speeds up your mill.
Thanks, didn't even know that card existed.
This is a Modern deck, any suggestions on how to improve this?
Pretty nice deck. I've made a similar one. It's more of a defenseive deck though, and I use Bloodthrone Vamp with Blood Artist and Vizkopa. The combo is just insane. One suggestion i would make is to add Rhox Faithmender, his synergy with the rest of the deck is really good, especially with Vizkopa. Here's my deck, if you want to see a different take on the Vizkopa mechanic. http://mtgvault.com/jiffy512/decks/orzhov-sac-attack/
