Deck Description

I decided to have some fun and make a deck based around Wrexial, the Risen Deep. I figured the best way to take advantage of his ability was to mill my opponent's sorceries and instants into his graveyard. This is what I've come up with.

Allies + Hedron Crab + Jace's Erasure for the mill. Quest for Ula's Temple gives me the chance to play Inkwell Leviathan or Wrexial turn 4. Jace + Jace's Erasure for more mill, and Liliana Vess + Duress for the discard.

****Mana Leak is there to protect my Wrexial once he gets out, but I'm wondering if I should just switch to Cancel to make sure that they can't stop him. Mana Leak is great early game, but by the time I get Wrexial out I don't know how useful it will be. Please tell me what you guys think about this.***

All suggestions are welcome, please feel free to say anything.

Deck discussion for Wrexial, the Risen Deep

Perhaps you could do two Cancels & two Mana Leaks. Just a suggestion.

Urborg is way too expensive. Spreading Seas gets the job done.

What about Stormtide Leviathan?

Mind Funeral or even Tome Scour can both fill up your opponent's graveyard with stuff for Wrex to steal

pretty good. the only real problem i can see is if the deck ur going against is about creatures or creature abilities rather than instants or sorceries
