This is a revamp of my snipers deck. I'd found it was a little hinky in places, and that rapid token generation could be an issue at times. This resolves that issue with the Staticasters being able to slaughter tokens en masse.
Like the original Snipers deck I made (reimagined from another deck I saw here), this exploits the hell out of ciphers on the Invisible Stalker to cause the guttersnipe to go crazy on damage.Curiosity keeps your deck flowing when the snipe goes offHidden strings has replaced Hands of Binding as the go-to cipher due to the mana ramp it creates. (I find myself able to use 6 mana on 2 lands when I cast it. cast, untap mana, cipher to stalker, cast something else, attack, untap lands, retap for further mana. )Staticasters are in for their ability to kill off entire waves of X/1 or X/2 (if both are out) creatures, so long as they share the same name. In non-singles decks, or populate decks, this is ridiculously effective. Moreso when paired with Chandra's Fury.Turn and Burn has been added to remove particularly problematic creatures.EDIT:I pulled the Guildmage, and all the replicate cards as I misunderstood the replicate mechanic. They don't trigger snipe after all. The Hands of Binding got put back in for creature lockdown, and the deck has proven to be very effective. Running as an Archenemy is fun. When facing control or removal decks (or when playing as the Archenemy), swap out all of your burn spells for counterspells of varying kinds. Burn spells are nice for creature removal, but hardly necessary when you have enough control going on.
