The Boros have sent in the cavalry, literally. Under the tutelage of Odric, under the Banner of the Caged Sun carried by Aurelia, and led by the Blade of the Legion himself.Wave after wave of attackers weaken the enemy and bring them down. Each wave strengthens the Boros, while decimating any foolish enough to stand in their way.
Flanking knights! More than one attack per turn. Tajic's Battalion ability. It all stacks over and over. Maybe their creatures can afford to take one attack and block my flankers, but when those flanking penalties take affect a second time their creatures are getting -2/-2 until end of turn. Meanwhile, each time Tajic, the invulnerable juggernaut, attacks he gets +5/+5. That is 7 commander damage the first attack, and 12 more the second time.

knightly valor and commander's authority

I considered Knightly Valor, but decided against it due to the cost and it only affects the one creature. And While Commander's Authority certainly also fits the theme of the deck, I am not going for the token explosion in this deck, I would have gone for assemble the legion in that case. Thanks for the suggestion though.
ok. i thought you had assemble the legion in here anyways. my bad
you know who goes well in a Human deck? Angelic Overseer. you go turn 4 Tajic, turn 5 Overseer, they wipe your board, but oh? whats this? those two survuve? sad face for them. now drop a (insert hasty creature here) and smash their face for daring to attempt to kill your creatures
That is pretty nasty, makes me want to build a deck around some crazy indestructible shenanigans. I'm thinking either WGB or WRB lots of angels, some myojin spirits, darksteel, and maybe some eldrazi just to be ridiculous. But for the flavor of this deck I tried to hold off putting too many non-knight creatures. But I think the Overseer could make it into the story of this deck. Thanks for the suggestion.
np. shes an amazing addition. I run Tajic as a commander, and its my favorite deck right now. http://www.mtgvault.com/ninjastyle612/decks/boros-edh-tajic/
I made an indestructible boros deck, here it ishttp://www.mtgvault.com/dragonwolf7/decks/boros-indestructible/
Looks like a fun deck, but I haven't played non-commander in over ten years.
EDH FTW! lol
oh haha lol
http://www.mtgvault.com/dragonwolf7/decks/avacyn-edh/then here is my commander indestructible, but its mono white
For a long time I thought I liked soldiers more than knights, I think I might need to take a second look at knights. Paladin en vec is a good choice due to it being pro black, so it handcuffs black mages ability to spot destroy it. What about silverblade paladin? Knight captain of eos would be something to think about, but he does produce soldiers so you will prolly nix that one. Since you play so many creatures I would say that cathars' crusade would be a okay card to add. And I haven't checked but the cmc on your creatures is prolly kinda low so this card might be worthless but I will mention it anyhow Herald of war, also it's the wrong creature type so since it doesn't keep with the theme it's a no go.
how in the holy crusades did i forget cathars' crusade? I originally had silverblade, but he lost his spot to the legion loyalist. That is not to suggest he won't make it back one day. And knights are awesome! Flanking has always been one of my favorite abilities, and it is under-appreciated in the world.
