Rebuild of my Sapling deck to add back in the black elements and make it more competitive. this is a great deck because it is not very expensive (the few expensive older cards are not vital to its success and easily replaced - scroll rack, volrath's dungeon, etc...). Just focus on removal, walls, and equipment. The biggest obstacle is if someone plays a pacify spell on the sapling before you can hit her with hexproof/shroud, or if they shuffle her into your library. Having a sacrifice outlet helps with the former problem, and some form of green creature tutor (green sun's zenith, tooth and nail, worldly tutor, or demonic, diabolic etc..) to fish her out helps with that. **Note: my group does not pay with tutors anymore, so they are not listed in my deck. I just beg them not to Condemn my Sapling or to play Terminus**
The deck is really straight forward and easy to play. It works in either on on one or in group play.Set up your defenders and work on getting some equipment into play. Relying on Sapling's built in indestructibility work on getting her protected with hexproof / shroud as quickly as possible. When that does use any number of infiltration techniques (Shizo, Rogues Passage, Trailblzer's Boots, Whispersilk Cloak, etc...) to hit your opponents for commander damage. Most board wipes won't work because she is indestructible, spot bouncing is not effective if she is shrouded.

i like the uniqueness but why not use Doran? isn't he a lot more resourceful for what you are trying to do? and cheaper?

I do love Doran and actually plan on making a Doran deck, but this deck is all about the indestructible bucket of awesome that is the Colfenor. While the other creatures in the deck do have high defenses, I don't really plan on hitting with them as much, they are there for the utility they provide and the life gain from Colfenor's triggered ability.
I can't find oracle of mul daya in my binder but that is the card I can think for you to add. Reason, just due to the fact that you might be playing more lands than the average edh deck and because you need to know if you have a creature on top for your general. The banner is taking up a slot that could be filled with something better, just due to the fact that I don't see very many leg creatures in the deck. Sensei's divining top would be great in here but it's cash cost is uber expensive for a uncommon. I know you don't like an equipment that starts with the letter s, so I will not mention any of them but they are worthy of deck space if you ask me.
