His name means "he who paints the earth red."And so it seems fitting that we have a deck where the entire point is to make the world red! Is there a creature on the board, turn it red. A land somewhere out there, make it a mountain. A spell with a color word on it... You guessed it, make that word red! With all these spells that give you control over color and land types, we added a few spells with landwalks and protection. Don't worry if it is not the right landwalk or protection, you can just change it on the go."Hold it," you might be saying, "urborg turns lands to swamps, and blanket of night and bad moon have to do with black creatures!" Change the text on that card! Or in a pinch tell Thrax to get over himself and start turning creatures and words to black. This deck is all about manipulating color and land to suit your need at the moment.
Originally I tried to make this a deck that manipulated color while abusing tokens and sacrifice, it quickly became apparent that there were too many themes going on in this deck. So I am using this space to note that I know that Thrax is a beast, and that this deck does not utilize his ability much. But sometimes it is the italicized text that makes me want to play a creature as my commander.

I have used shifting sky + wash out before, I know that doesn't help very much. There is Trait doctoring but since you are not using non instants then than might not work. My expertise with color changing is rather limited so I feel the need to apologize that I am rather useless when it comes to commenting on this deck.

Wash out... Maybe it finds a way in for kicks.Yeah, and trait doctoring, along with a bunch of other sorcery cards, was in the initial list, but got cut. This deck list went through some serious back and forth editing. I still don't consider it done. Also 100th comment.
congrats for reaching the century mark on comments, also check out the new brew I have concocted.
Idk if you check on yer decks anymore but I did have a good idea for this deck (that's a first for me). I am in the middle of building a mono red deck and I was looking at jaya ballard task mage, I think it would work because you are busy changing colors. I had to edit this one because I found artifacts that will gain you life every time a spell of a certain color is cast (I was thinking about something like throne of bone).
