Deck Description

Spongebob Squarepants theme.
Yep. Let's see what sort of shenanigans Spongebob, fast food worker who lives in a Pineapple under the sea, and all his friends can get into!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Cast of characters:

Spongebob Squarepants = Works at Krusty Krab. Best fast food worker under the sea! He loves to catch jellyfish when he has free time.
He will be played by Walking Sponge.

Squidward Tentacles = Square squid whom hates Spongebob, working at Krusty Krab and just about everything else.
He will be played by Chasm Skulker.

Patrick Star = Spongebob's slow and goofy best friend and sidekick. He is a star fish, lives next door to Spongebob, and lives under a rock.
He will be played by Spiny Starfish.

Eugene H. Krabs = The owner of Krusty Krab and Spongebob's boss. Super stingy and greedy with money. Overall terrible boss. Sound familiar?
He will be played by Horseshoe Crab.

Sandy Cheeks = A squirrel whom, with the help of a breathing helmet, is friends with Patrick and Spongebob. She invents stuff and brags about being a land animal.
She will be played by her invention, Acorn Catapult.

Mrs. Poppy Puff = A pufferfish whom hates Spongebob because he annoys her and repeatedly failes her Boating Class.
She will be gound up and used as Puffer Extract.

Pearl = She is the daughter of Mr. Krabs...even though she is a whale. Don't ask how that worked out. She is your average 16 year old teen Whale.
She will be played by Great Whale.

They all live at Bikini Bottom, known to us as Bikini Atoll. Nuclear test site. That explains why there are now talking Sponges walking around.
The shenanigans will be located at Coral Atoll.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

How to Play

Win Conditions:

1) Overrun your opponent by using Acorn Catapult and Spiny Starfish combo. Sandy Cheeks and Patrick Star, for the win!

2) Chasm Skulker. Use draw spells to pump him up: Howling Mine, Accumulated Knowledge, Into the Roil, and Arcane Denial. Those cards give you tempo plus +1/+1 counters.
Squidward Tentacles, for the win!

3) Mana pump into massive unblockable creatures. Everyone hates their Instructors/teachers, right? Well, grind them up into Puffer Extract and add a little bit of Distortion Strike, and call it a day. An unblockable buffed Chasm Skulker or Great Whale is hard to deal with!
Mrs. Poppy Puff and Pearl, for the win!

4) Disrupt you opponent. By nullifying their static abilities with Walking Sponge. By chump blocking with your squirrel and starfish tokens. By pinging opponent's 1/1 creatures with Acorn Catapult. By your bounce and counterspell cards that double as cards that let you draw plus pump your Chasm Skulker.
Spongebob Squarepants and team for the win!!!

Lands of note:
Coral Atoll, you are welcome for searching over an hour to find a land that was close to Bikini Atoll. It fit the theme perfectly. It could help ramp into Puffer Extract.
Swarmyard, a nifty card that regenerates squirrels. Combos well with Acorn Catapult. It gives you cheap chump blockers that can be regenerated.
Academy Ruins. It returns an artifact from your graveyard to the top of your library. That could be useful against artifact hate.

Deck discussion for Spongebob's Bikini Bottom Bash

Question:

Should I add in Cowardice and Gigadrowse? Take out Chasm Skulker for Sand Squid. Could Squidward Tentacles work as a Sand Squid?
Use stuff like Walking Sponge, Sand Squid, and Acorn Catapult (along with Gigadrowse) to ping and bounce my opponent's creatures, if Cowardice is in play?
I could take out Into the Roil and Accumulated Knowledge/Howling Mine?

Advice anyone! The suggested cards are now sitting in my Sideboard, if you want to take a look.

And hope you like it!

Thanks. Spongebob was more popular, years ago. But i still thought it was funny. What about the Cowardice card? Is it viable, the above changes in my first comment?

Glad you got a kick out of it. :)

I love it.
Me and my friends once came up with this idea to make Mill-deck based on Spongebob, using Walking Sponge as Spongebob, Jace's Phantasm as Squidward, Hedron Crab as Eugene H. Krabs and Sigiled Starfish as Patrick, but I never created it after all...
Should I really create it?

Did you see the Cowardice comment? It is my first comment on this deck. I thought of using Walking Sponge, Acorn Catapult, and Sand Squid to bounce opponent's creatures?

Do you think it is better than what I already have? It may be. That is what i am unsure of.

I have mad props to find a way to use Sandy Cheeks. I use Acorn Catapult to target my Spiny Starfish. I regenerate the Starfish and outcome is = 1 1/1 squirrel and 1 0/1 starfish. Not exactly the greatest army producer...but interesting.

Glad you liked it!!

Maybe you could do Toy Story? :)

How about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I made a deck where you can have a Mutant Ninja Turtle in play.
