Deck Description

A challenge deck.

The Sideboard Switcheroo!
By Nampo.

"I've though about doing this but have yet to actually built anything. Have the sideboard a different color than what is used maindeck and swap out a whole colors when sideboarding. Example: Game 1 RU, Game 2 UB, Game 3 BR. The swap would directly influence the way the deck is played. Maybe red brings burn, blue counterspells and black creatures. Would probably be hard not to give it away with the land and be a true surprise. It might turn out to be lame overall but at very least I'm hoping it's something that will spark your interest and help get you past that burn out. Happy Building.

That might even be an interesting game type. You have to switch out a color each game. Maybe not. Meh.

(I suppose bonus points for using Switcheroo, lol)"

*********************************************************************************

For the first time in over a month, was interested in making a Magic deck!
Very interesting idea.
Deck has to be able to take versatility to the max!
Deck has to be able to function as Red/Blue OR Blue/Black OR Black/Red during any given game.
Essentially you are using your Sideboard to allow yourself to use 3 different decks during a 3 game tournament.

How to Play

1 two color deck consisting of 60 cards (Blue and Red).
15 card sideboard consisting of a third color (Black).

1st Version. Red/Blue (with Black Sideboard)
2nd Version. Blue/Black (with Red Sideboard)
3rd Version. Black/Red (with Blue Sideboard)

*********************************************************************************

1st Version. Red/Blue.
Red will focus on direct damage.
Blue will focus on control.

Control the board with your Isochron Scepter on your Remands and Cyclonic Rifts.
Draw cards with Isochron Scepter on Accumulated Knowledge and Remands.
Control opponent's creatures with War Tax.
Do direct damage with your red burn spells as a Win Condition.
Do combat damage with Aetherling as a 2nd Win Condition.

*********************************************************************************

2nd Deck. Blue/Black.
Blue will focus on control.
Black will focus on lethal creatures.

Control the board with your Isochron Scepter on your Remands and Cyclonic Rifts.
Draw cards with Isochron Scepter on Accumulated Knowledge and Remands.
Control opponent's creatures with Caltrops.
With your black creatures, all defense stronger than one, will fly by Caltrops. Caltrops hurts opponent's creatures but not yours. Between Caltrops and Plague Spitter, small weenie opponent's have no chance at winning.
Plague Spitter with Vampire Nighthawk and Loxodon Warhammer equals massive amounts of lifegain! Which will cancel out life lose due to your lands.

3rd Deck. Black/Red.
Red will focus on direct damage.
Black will focus on lethal creatures.

Hit them fast. Use your red direct damage spells to nuke opponent. Use Recoup to keep casting spells.
With Black, you have mean little creatures like Skinrender and Swiftwing to keep the pain happening.
*********************************************************************************

Idea is simple.

If opponent is playing something like a aggro deck then play your Black/Blue deck.
If opponent is playing control then play your Red/Black deck.
If opponent is playing a combo deck then play your Blue/Red deck.
