Deck Description

Not really meant to win.
Meant to aggravate your opponent.
Here is how to aggravate someone in a game of Magic:

How to Play

3 Steps:

1) Play Counterspells that require your opponent to have to pay extra mana for their spells they cast. Example: Force Spike.
2)Now that your opponent (considering your opponent paid the extra mana) has very little mana, you cast a Rishadan Creature. Since your opponent now has little to no mana, he has to sac a permanent.
3) Keep playing Bounce spells to bounce lands/threats that your opponent does actually happen to get through your Counterspells/Rishadans.

In other words.
First Turn. Force Spike or Disrupt.
2nd Turn. Boomerang OR Miscalculation/Daze.
3rd Turn. Cutpurse.
4th Turn. Footpad
5th Turn. Brigand.

A 4th Turn High Tide (6 mana) or a 5th Turn High Tide (8 mana) produces all sorts of fun. A bought back Capsize. Or a Boomerang and Cutpurse/Footpad. Or a Cutpurse/Footpad and Capsize. Or a Cutpurse/Footpad and mana left over for a Counterspell.

Fun Fun Fun.

Old Masque team deck.

And thanks for saying team. I quit Magic...get back into it...and now I hear people on this site say I make "tribal" decks.

I hate that word. Makes me feel old. lol
I don't play "tribal" i play creature decks. lol

Bro, i love the deck seems like it can win though. anyways maybe put in a card like innundate or whelming wave to reuse your creatures and return all of theirs to their hand.
also i need you to check out this deck if you would: http://www.mtgvault.com/morbidchaosdesudesu/decks/i-play-onesi-won/

Sunken Field...i struggled with that card...when making the deck. It could work every single turn. It could rock. I still may consider it.

And Whelming Wave...I have an idea to use it in another deck i am making up:
These cards would be in it: Mirror Entity, Shields of Velis Vel, Peer Pressure.

Love sunken field. Essentially a free counter every turn.

Okay, okay. Two votes for Sunken Field. What should i replace?

And Instead of Sunken Field...if i were to want a counter every turn...why not just run Scepter?

i dont like capsize that much at all.

I hear you...it is super expensive to cast. But...the buyback...on Turn 6...i have had my opponent locked down using capsize. He cast something, i capsize it and buy capsize again. Next turn he cast something, i capsize and buy capsize again. Over and over. But yeah...maybe it is old and outdated.

Because scepter costs 2 mana whereas sunken fields is only really 1 mana to use it, and as an ability it is harder to counter than playing a spell.

Okay, okay, okay. :)

United it is a hard counter ( which I admit sunken field isn't) perhaps that would be better then. If you want to run a hard counter, then absolutely run scepter. :)

Make up your mind, lol, joking.

Decided with Scepter, for this reason: I can use it on my bounce spells PLUS Gitaxian to draw every turn PLUS on redirect for constant threat of redirecting their cards.

Actually you can't use it with gitaxian since it is a sorcery, and iso scepter can only imprint instants. But regardless, that was probably a pretty good call. :)

Question guys. Cryptoplasm. During your upkeep, if you changed him into a Rishadan...does it count as him coming into play? In other words, could he keep becoming different Rishadans and making opponent sac permanents?

Or does "come into play" only mean when a card is cast from your hand?

0

yeah no, becoming a copy of a creature does not mean it comes into play so no trigger effect
