Deck Description

A challenge deck.

Narset EDH
By narfnarf.

Wanted to see a Narset EDH deck designed around loads of spells and as few creatures as possible.

Nice idea!

How to Play

Use spells to nuke opponent's creatures.

Use Narset and all of your instant/sorcery cards to nuke your opponent.

Myrs add backup mana.

Loads of direct damage.

Loads of cards to nuke your opponent's creatures, artifacts, and enchantments.

Won't win lots of games. Or even most games...but when it works, it will be fun to play.

Prowess and scry cards to benefit from Narset, as well.

Blue acts as control and draw.
White acts as artifact/creature/enchantment/land destruction.
Red acts as direct damage.

Pretty even mana occurrence.

Inspired by Narfnarf.

Note: I suck at making EDH and 3 color decks. So go easy on me. I definitely know that the land base needs work.

Lots of scry.
I thought that was neat.

You know, attack with Narset. You get to draw 4 cards, some that you draw have scry built in...so you stack your library and get instants/sorcery cards.

I really like Narset. She makes for one damn cheesy EDH.
An EDH well done.

...and, I've found yet another deck that requires some additional attention. Preferably even a place from the Hot Page.
Please, check out this link.

Nice commander deck. I really like the commander. I like hexproof in commanders since everyone freaks out whenever a commander enters the field. +1!

I know narfnarf is a user, but I wonder why they chose that name. A reference to pinky and the brain? Or an acronym for Nuclear Attack Readiness Formation...

They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
Their twilight campaign is easy to explain
To prove their mousy worth
They'll overthrow the earth
They're Pinky, they're Pinky and the Brain
Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, narf

I could have sworn it was:
They're pinky and the brain, yes pinky and the brain
one is a genius, the other's insane
they're laboratory mice, they're genes have been spliced,
they're dinky, they're pinky and the brain brain brain brain.........

I forgot the rest. The only other lyric I remember is when they changed the show to include Elmyra from tiny toons;
The situation's changed, for pinky and the brain,...........and the rest I forgot...much like every other episode with elmyra in it.

Sorry guys. I see this deck is not getting a lot of love.
There are a lot more decks out there, right now, that was more deserving.
I try, though, to get around and comment/like other decks as often as I can. Try to make other people get notice.
Sometimes Mtgvault is tricky. I make awesome decks that I think deserve 100 likes...and no one pays them attention...and at other times I make a passable deck that gets on the Hot Page. Go figure. I know it has to feel like that to you too, at times. Just keep on trucking and fighting the good fight! :) Don't give up. I love this website.

If you would like for me to check any of your decks out, just post it here.
I will do so when I get the chance.

i have a question one of my decks had 10 likes but did not go to the hot pge

That is a good question. The system is being very weird right.
Here is what I have gathered:
Usually, if it is a new deck (on the first page or so of new decks) and gets 5 to 6 likes, it becomes a Hot Deck.
So...not sure what happened. Is the deck an older deck? If so...that is why it is not hot. Usually older decks that start getting attention go to the "active" decks. New decks with a lot of attention go to the "hot" decks.

I may be a noob, but there is something about a lot of sorceries/instants being played when someone dumps a Howl of the Horde.

All of a sudden you go from a small number of cards being played with Narset to each of them being played 2-3 times. It can really make someone have some issues. Since you have a /ton/ of scry, you can figure out when something like that might be handy and drop some heavy damage spells several times.
