Deck Description

This is a Challenge deck issued by mymobbsdeep:
Issue Deck can be seen here if you would like to challenge me to make a deck:
http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/puschkins-card-challenge/

Hivestone is key to this deck. Look up and read it.
Idea is to Win against my opponent by benefiting from Hivestone pumping up my creatures.

Aiming for 6/6, 7/7, 8/8 and higher Kithkin and Sliver.

How to Play

Every creature pumps up each other.
Glorious Anthem pumps up creatures.
Coat of Arms pumps up creatures.

Key is Hivestone. It turns my Kithkin into Sliver.
So, my Figure of Destiny, Wizened Cenn, and Militia's Pride all become Slivers...BUT, this is important, still retain their pump up power from Coat of Arms/Wizened Cenn.

Enlightened Tutor fetches you your key cards:
1. Hivestone 2. Militia's Pride 3. Coat of Arms 4. Glorious Anthem

Overrun and Militia's Pride over powers your oppponent.

Harmonize draws.

Oblivion Ring exiles any threat.

*********************************************************************************

Example of what I am looking at.
In play: 1 Hivestone 1 Muscle Sliver 1 Sinew Sliver 1 Wizened Cenn 1 Coat of Arms 1 Militia's Pride, 3 untapped Plains.

Each Sliver is 6/6
The Wizened Cenn is 5/5.

Here is where the fun begins:
When you attack with everything and pay 3 mana you get:
3 1/1 Kithkin tokens.

Results: 8/8 Slivers
9/9 Kithkin

nice idea ive never seen hivestone it is an interesting card I don't see you having enough mana to use the figure of destiny ability but that will be a sweet card for the boros edh im building. I just built 2 new decks if u could check them out it would be great.

You took two of my favorite creature types, stuck them in one deck, and turned them into beasties. Yeah, that's a +1 from me. Who doesn't like a 12/12 kithkin? I've been working on a deck for my new fav kithkin Preeminent Captain and trying to anthem pump off the soldier type, but it never gets to that kind of nasty.

change the muscle sliver for predatory sliver for the rare chance that you play a sliver deck

Rulings

10/4/2004 If a creature has more than one creature type, and one of those types matches the creature you are calculating for, then count that creature. Only one type needs to match in order to get counted.
10/4/2004 If you have a creature with more than one creature type, count all creatures which have either creature type.
10/1/2009 Sharing multiple creature types doesn't give an additional bonus. Coat of Arms counts creatures, not creature types.

coat of arms wont double up it would be sweet if it did tho

Lame. Why do you bring me bad news?
Can you check the numbers for power/defense for the creatures in the: How to Play section?

your slivers would be 8/8 the tokens would be 9/9 since they get the extra buff from wizened cenn

Maybe Overwhelming Stampede instead of overrun since there would be close to, or always a bigger creature then a 3/3 when you cast it

This looks like so much fun to play. Have you thought of splashing blue so you can run Crystalline Sliver? I feel like it is the strongest sliver ever printed and find myself constantly trying to fit it into any sliver deck. Maybe put Coat of Arms to a 1 of since it tends to be a bit of a "win more" card. (I know this goes against the decks original build challenge, but it provides so much protection.
If you happen to have a spare minute or two, I would love some feed back on my new Crucible Titania deck. I'm trying to break into Legacy and debating whether or not to go with it.

Who doesn't like huge creatures made of synergy? As one of the best deckbuilder's on mtgvault I'd greatly appreciate if you took a stab at my most recent budget deck. It would mean a lot to get some critical feedback.

and as always +1 for this deck!

No, I am not one of the best deckbuilders on this site.
I wish I were, though.
And yes, I will check your decks out.

Nonsense. I value creativity over efficiency when it comes to non-competitive! Not to say your decks aren't efficient, heh

Well, then I do probably have a little bit of creativity.
I do try damn hard to come up with different/unique decks.

Have you not seen NorthernWarlord?

He has the most hot decks.
He has had the most multiple hot decks at once.
At one time, he had EVERY SINGLE hot deck on the 1st two pages of the Hot Decks!
He actually broke mtgvault and the administrators had to reformat mtgvault so that any one user can only have 2 hot decks, on the hot page, at any one time.
Hell, he has over 700 decks! The guy is a beast!

"Decks with over 100 likes."
Yep, that is me! :)
Thank you for noticing. That made my week!

I have seen his decks but only on the hot page, I never looked at his collection of lists. I guess now I'll have to! That's some pretty crazy shit. How do you even get so popular?

Glad I could spread some joy this holiday!

He makes budget decks. People on here love budget decks.
How I get comments and likes is by advertising.
I go to people's decks and leave comments and likes and opinions.
Then I copy and paste a link to one of my decks, and ask the person to return the favor.
You sorta have to whore yourself out. lol.
People that only post decks and never comment on other people's decks rarely get a Hot Deck.

Yeah, I kinda realized that, and yeah it feels very whore-ish. But I did it, and how I have my first hot deck on the front page right now. Worth it!

Someone please explain how tribal ever helps, ESPECIALLY Tribal instants/sorceries (Tarfire).

Here is one example that I know of.
2 Cards
Goblin Ringleader and Tarfire.
Play Ringleader. Now reveal the top 4 cards of your library. If one of those is Tarfire, you put it in your hand, because it counts as a Goblin.
Besides that...I don't know much about it.
It seemed to be discontinued though.
