Deck Description

2 mana challenge deck. This one is pretty neat looking.

Focused around casting black./white cards to pump up Nightsky Mimic to a 4/4 flyer.

How to Play

Nightsky Mimic:
He is the real bad guy here. The Caress is just back up. I have 24 cards in the deck that will pump him up to a 4/4 flyer.

A 4/4 flyer, with your opponent being forced to discard...that will win you a game or two.

Here is what helps out!

High Priest of Penance. What a creature! If it is dealt damage, I get to destroy one of your nonland permanents. So, you attack, I block with him, there goes one of your Artifacts/Creatures/Enchantments. I could even cast a Death Grasp on him! It would let me return a nonland permanent you control to your hand PLUS pump up Nightsky Mimic PLUS let me gain x life. Brutal.

I have Orzhov Charm and Zealous Persecution for creature hate. What creatures that actually get onto the board, that gets past my discarding, will have trouble staying on the board. So, Nightsky Mimic is even more brutal.

Dawn Charm. Prevent damage card here. But also, it regenerates a creature. You guessed it, your High Priest of Penance!!! Block with your High Priest of Penance, it is dealt damage and you destroy a nonland permanent of your opponent's, and then cast Dawn Charm on High Priest of Penance!! He gets to block again next turn.

Deck discussion for Black/White 2 mana deck

Tidehollow sculler doesn't force discard, he exiles a card from their hand and keeps it until he dies, in other words he is an o-ring that target their hand as opposed to the battlefield

Castigate also doesn't force discard it just straight up exiles it from their hand, but unlike the sculler it doesn't have a chance to return.

Just as clarification discarding is the act of putting a card from your hand into the graveyard, and exiling the card doesn't count as a discard. Otherwise it looks fun to play I like the control like aspects mixed with aggro.

Crap. Thanks for catching that. So i need to lower both Castigate and Tidehollow Sculler for more discard. Maybe Hymn to Tourach? It is double black...so that is rough to be able to cast.

Or revamp it with taking out Lilana's Caress.
Maybe add something that interacts with the High Priest. Like regeneration, maybe? Yeah...maybe that.

Yeah I think you should drop the discard theme because to make it work you really need to commit to it, but you already have a good base for Orzhov shenanigans and I would suggest adding some extort

On a side note your discard idea inspired me to make a mono-black version that tries to take as much advantage of lily's caress as I can
