lmao. She wants to learn how to play, has for over a year. I do not have the patience to teach her.
But no, this would be too complicated for her to start out with.

The "weave" part is from MirrorWeave. lol.

I thought I was clever.

But joking aside, what do you think of it, magicmaster13? You make solid decks, i know that.

You see the basic idea. Win with copying Biovisionary. I have Impulse/Drift of Phantasms to draw him. I have Clout of the Dominus to protect him. I have Slippery Bogle and Sylvan Caryatid, with hexproof, hard to kill creatures that are ready to be copied. Cyptoplasm and Phantasmal Image that love to be copies of Biovisionary.
And Mirrorweave, to turn my little Boglle and Caryatid into Biovisionaries. Cytoshape as a back up to change Slippery Bogle/Cryptoplams/Sylvan Caryatid into Biovisionary.

Wash Out and Temporal Spring for removing threats.

Would replacing something like Cyptoshape to a free Memnite/Ornithopter...would that make the deck faster?

ike this:

Turn 1. Play Slippery Bogle and free Memnite.
Turn 2. Sylvan Caryatid.
Turn 3. Biovisionary.
Turn. 4. Mirrorweave.

Since I played the free Memnite, it gave me the 4th copy of Biovisionary to win the game.

It could work. But sure if adding something like Memnite makes it faster...BUT MUCH LESS consistent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, on this one.

Some decks i know for sure, but this one is throwing me trouble.

Should i take out Cyptoplasm for Cackling Counterpart? Cyptoplasm is more versatile...but Cackling Counterpart is more true to what I am trying to do. But Cyptoplasm can become ANY CREATURE on EVERY TURN.

And with Mirrorweave...I HATE THE IDEA OF HAVING TO RELYING ON AN ENCHANTMENT FOR MY WIN. So, should I add Progenitor Mimic, as a backup plan? If so...what do I take out?

Or, for another win condition, should i consider something like Timberpack Wolf?
Each Timberpack gets +1/+1 for each Timberpack Wolf in play. If i make all my creatures, using Cyptoplasm/Mirrorweave/Cytoshape, Wolfs...that is massive damage potential. And If i could find room for Timberpack Wolf, wouldn't Cyptoplasm work better than a Cackling Counterpart?

Help!

Ok, I've gathered a list of the best spells that make copies of stuff:

-Cackling Counterpart (I can see you've already spoken about this card, and I have to agree, it is a card that will help your deck get to the point quicker plus you can flashback it if you manage to get the mana. I think this would be a nice addition to this deck.)

-Fated Infatuation (This is a really good card with the Scry ability and the fact it's an instant, but the problem is the risk with the mana. If you could work on your land base, add some more dual lands to almost guarantee the 3 blue mana you need, I would definitely recommend this card.)

-Phyrexian Metamorph (This has to be one of the better copy cards, since this can work with any color deck and only cost 3. In addition to that, this card can also target artifacts, which isn't so necessary in this deck. This is still a very good card, and you would be smart to use this.)

-Polymorphous Rush (I see this card as more of a game winner in this deck more than anything. If you could manage to get the mana to copy enough creatures, then this is definitely a card to look at. Anyways, this card is much better than Cytoshape, so I would remove Cytoshape in place of this card for sure.)

-Progenitor Mimic (This is a good card for what you are trying to do, but possibly a little slow, since you will be getting it out turn 6 and only getting one copy each turn. Putting that aside, however, with all of the copying you should be doing by the time you play this card you should only need to wait 1 or 2 turns to win. Overall, this is a good card you could add.)

-Renegade Doppelganger (This is a cheap creature that can easily win you the game a turn quicker, since with all of the copies coming in, this will almost always be a copy of Biovisionary, and since this only costs 2, I don't know why this wouldn't be a snug addition to this deck.)

-Rite of Replication (Not much to say about this card, other than if you could manage to get the mana for the kicker, then you've won. If not, you still get a copy of Biovisionary.)

-Stolen Identity (I feel like this is an overlooked card, but with Biovisionary, when you play this card turn 6, you get a copy, then attack and deal damage, get another copy. By now, you have at least 3 Bio's and should already have one from the copying. This is a good card.)

-Followed Footsteps (Just like a Progenitor Mimic, only you are getting it a turn earlier.)

-Infinite Reflection (This has to be one of the best cards to combo with Biovisionary, for as long as you have at least 1 Bio out and any other 3 creatures, you'll win the game. I would definitely add this if I were you, Jessie.)

So, as far as I am aware, these are the best copying cards you could use for this deck, I hope this helped. Now, off to find some more cards that could help you out.

Here are some more cards that may benefit this deck:

-Doubling Chant (Just another Insta-Win card in this deck.)

- Echoing Courage (If you were going with the Timberland Wolf idea, this card would be a usefull addition.)

-Gigantiform (Not sure if this would work with copying cards, but if it does then this card is CRAZY!!!)

-Timberpack Wolf (Of course, you've already spoken about this and I must say that using that card is a good idea.)

-Alpha Authority (Giving cards like Biovisionary Hexproof is always good.)

-Asceticism (This is an awesome card, and I am telling you this: YOU NEED TO USE THIS CARD. No, seriously, in a deck like this, Asceticism is SO awesomely amazing. This card pretty much enables you to win the game, no problems with the opponent destroying your only Bio, because they can't even get to it! I love this card!

For now, I also must tell you to remove Clout of the Dominus from this deck, as giving your creatures Shroud means that you wont be able to target them with Copy cards, which is a big chunk of this deck. I think I'm all pooped out now, I really do hope I helped.

Thanks for all of the advice. I have a lot of cards to look up now. Yeah, definitely will have to revamp it using some of the cards you mentioned.

Ok, you can make mirrorweave work by using 1 of 2 cards. Either the over hyped platinum angel, or the superb Angel's grace. That would do it.

Or, my opponent's would have to have less than 4 creatures, right?

I would have to play something like Wash Out, on my opponent's creature, then play Mirrorweave.

What would you suggest? Taking out Mirrorweave?
Leave it and do some sort of Mirrorweave/Timberpack wolf/Angel's Grace/Biovisionary deck.
If I take out Mirrorweave...add what? Infinite Reflection? Cackling Counterpart? Progenitor Mimic?

And If i take out Mirrorweave, will my hex creatures stay?

Let me look at some good copycat cards. And I will get back to you. I personally wouldn't run anything too complicated. Simple is almost always better.

The only thing with Mirrorweave is that it works for your opponents too. So make sure that they have 3 or less creatures on the field whenever you play it lol.

That seems to be the issue, AustinGoldmane. I didn't think about it when i made the deck...now i am at a crossroads.

Redo the deck with different copy cards like Cackling Counterpart.
Or..readjust the deck for more bounce.

This deck is going to be in revision mode for a long time...because my mind is racing with all kind of new decks. I want to do Harry Potter themed decks. Already did Slytherin.
Plus I want to to a Contamination deck. I got one Contamination when Urza's Saga came out...and always wanted to do a deck around it. Just recently seen Ophiomancer. So, going there with it.

Plus, working on a Riverfall Mimic/Clout of the Dominus deck too.

Are you sure about 20 lands? Surely with the mana curve you have more land would be benifitial?

Hmm .... Artisian of forms might be better than Phantasmal Image. Having both is a good idea too.
