The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

Tired of building cheap decks?
I am. I wanted to make a deck without any limits on budge.

2,200 dollars.
Damn! :)

This is a very overpriced Mill deck that tries to win no later than Turn 5.

How to Play

Turn 1. Island. Tome Scour (Opponent down 5 cards)
Turn 2. Swamp. Mind Sculpt (Opponent down 12 cards)
Turn 3. Island. Glimpse the Unthinkable (Opponent down 22 cards)
Turn 4. Swamp. Dark Ritual. Haunting Echoes (Opponent down most of his deck, if not all of his deck).

Good Game!

Deck discussion for $2,000 Mill Deck

Pretty cheap, right?

Just a little pocket change.

Seriously, this is a great deck. I didn't realize Haunting Echoes was first printed back in Odyssey; it is such an awesome card! I also appreciate that while it costs $2000, you fall back on the same old overpriced cards, like the Power Nine. But it's still powerful and can still decimate on turn 4-5.

I have a couple decks still under construction. Once they're done I can post the links.

EDIT: Or those three. Thanks for the comments.

You should think of Breaking // Entering. Not as good as glimpse, but same mana cost and mills 8.

By the way, you seem to like silly decks. Today I made just one of those. Instead of costing $2000, it's 333 cards for around $400. Fun with Battle of Wits. What do you think?

I love silly decks, sure enough.
Battle of Wits...that is the one that wins if you have a lot of cards in your deck, right?
Will check it out!

This deck only works because of Dark Ritual, otherwise you would never be able to cast Hauntig Echoes. If you go in modern you are screwed because you must remove Dark Ritual, if you stay in Legacy you match up with other Legacy freakness.
